Fabulosa casa de playa en Malibú en una playa de arena seca

Con escaleras privadas a su propia playa de arena seca en una cala con surf, natación y pesca, en una calle sin salida, esta cómoda casa tiene todo para hacer de su estadía uno de sus mejores recuerdos de vacaciones. Hay una nueva cocina gourmet, gran sala, comedor con capacidad para 10, den y dos dormitorios principales, todo en el agua. Las habitaciones frente al agua tienen ventanas de piso a techo con espectaculares vistas al océano y cada una tiene su propia terraza.

Los muebles son amplios y cómodos, incluidos interesantes asientos y bancos hechos a mano, antigüedades y obras de arte. Hay tragaluces en los pasillos y baños. Hay chimeneas en la sala de estar, estudio y dormitorio principal. Hay una ducha de agua caliente en la playa. Es ideal para familias con niños.

Beyond wonderful!

Everything about this Malibu home is so so lovely.. the location and beach are outstanding, the home is comfortable and beautiful. And the hosts were extremely accommodating! Just perfect.

A wonderful week on the beach

We spent just under a week here with our 3 children and had a total blast. The owners were fast to communicate and the property could not have worked out better for us. Convenient location and you feel like you have your own part of the beach. Highly recommend.

The Perkins family experience

Takes too long to say all the wonderful feelings I have about our time in Malibu! It was as if we were at home. The ultimate Malibu experience

This property instantly immersed us in the very best Malibu has to offer. A truly, one of a kind location on a gorgeous, quiet (feels almost private) beach, dry even at high tide. Waves crashing and dolphins playing right in front of the house. A fun, surfing point break right off the beach. Pace of life here immediately slows down, yet Malibu Colony with all its great amenities, restaurants and stores only 8 minutes away. The house was comfortable and well equipped; very much the owners' beloved home with their personal effects and memories shared trustingly and openly with their guests. The owners were easy to contact, very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommended for a family holiday in great comfort, with a truly privileged location. Having previously lived in Los Angeles, we returned with our family of six to experience the Malibu way of life and this really delivered.

Breathtaking ocean views!

We chose this home largely due to there being a bedroom & full bathroom on the ground level of the home, as we were celebrating my mother in laws 84th birthday and didn’t want her to have to climb many stairs. The home was well kept & beautifully decorated with different art pieces & decor that we really enjoyed. There is a “music room” where they so graciously allow guests to use their piano & guitars. There was also a little table in there where we played chess while others attempted to explore their inner musician. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all of the cookware that we needed, the grill is hooked to the gas for the house (so no need to worry about running out of propane), and the wine chiller & wet bar were well stocked! We enjoyed a bottle of their wine & replaced it with one of ours. The large TV’s are ready to go with Disney & Netflix, with guest accounts available for use. This was great in the evening for some chill time for the younger kids that were tired from a full day. The view is simply beautiful and AMAZING! There is a large main level deck with plenty of seating, and a second level deck accessible from the master & 2nd master. I cannot emphasize the views you have at this home. The beach was perfect and sandy and we spent hours enjoying it. We went out early in the morning during low tide to check out the tide pools, which was fun as well. We would love to go back again!!

Absolute paradise!!

Dennis and Leah were so thoughtful and generous with their time and efforts even before our stay that we knew we'd made the right choice with this home! We brought our large family from the East Coast, and our in-laws from Canada, for some much needed reunion time and R&R. The location is absolutely stunning and the naturescapes are truly second to none. The gorgeous bird formations, busy sea life, and even whale sightings made it unforgettable! For those unfamiliar with Malibu beaches, it’s rare to find a home that affords so much ‘dry beach’ for walking, playing, and picnicking, another major bonus with this rental. Inside, the home is wonderfully spacious and has a thoughtful and rustic charm. There are many areas to spread out and enjoy nature gazing, reading, movies, boardgames, conversations, or music nights (and thank you Dennis and Leah for going way above and beyond to have the new piano delivered in time for our stay!) For outdoor fun, there were copious amounts of towels, beach chairs, toys for the kids, surf boards, and wetsuits for all ages. We would not hesitate for a moment to rent this amazing property again, and in fact, we will be recommending it highly to friends and family alike! Many thanks again Dennis and Leah, our memories at your home will last a lifetime!"

NOT A PRIVATE PROPERTY, AS ADVERTISED

This property was advertised as a Private Property on a Private Street with a Private Beach. The HOA for the condos across the “Private Street” was able to secure this “Private Beach” for PUBLIC access 24 hours a day through regulations of the CA Coastal Commission. For this property, that means there is approximately 5 ft of Private Beach in front of the property during high tide and approximately 30 ft of Private Beach in front of the property during low tide. ANY ONE can have beach access 24 hrs/day as long as they do not walk on this property within the above footage. This is not enforced by anyone. The property owner/renter has to constantly run trespassers off the property. We had to run trespassers off every day we were there. Since we are senior citizens, that was not an easy thing to, nor was it pleasant. We called the property owner about this security issue twice. He said he has had to run trespassers off himself. His neighbors said they, too, have to run trespassers off from their properties. After six days of this, we finally had enough and had the property manager (the owner’s neighbor two doors down) call a security service to remove some unsavory characters from this “Private Beach”. This is when the property owner texted us to offer refunding two days of rent if we wanted to leave. Because it was then almost 6:00pm, we told him we could not pack up to leave at that short time, but would certainly want to leave the next morning, which we did. All we have left to say is: BUYER BEWARE. If you value your PRIVACY and your SAFETY, stay far, far away from this property. You’ll be glad you did,

Outstanding home and views!

The located and views of this home are TOP TIER! Phenomenal beach access, with all of the equipment and toys you need to enjoy days in the ocean. Literally feet away from an excellent point break in the bay. Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The home is meticulously cleaned with plenty of space for a small group of friends or family to not be on top of each other. Beautiful neighborhood as well! I wasn’t expecting the live in guest upstairs but rhea was open and welcoming as long as we kept the music at a low level. Don’t come expecting to play loud beach music because Rhea will shut that down fast! Lol Dennis was excellent in terms of communication and contact. As were the neighbors he listed as additional contacts. I really enjoyed my time at the house and loved the natural sound track of the Pacific Ocean crashing into the shore every night. Beautiful!

Location, location, location

Lovely, well-equipped property right on the beach. Incredibly relaxing. We reveled in the cool breezes and enjoyed watching the pods of dolphins and the surfers swimming right offshore. The property is well set up for family use, including cooking, dining, and conversation. Great California beachy vibe.

A Slice of Heaven

We were overwhelmed with the beauty of this home and the generosity of our hosts. Every aspect was exactly as described. There is something for EVERYONE at this VRBO; our party's ages ranged from 23 to 91. Absolutely nothing lacking in this home. Most memorable family vacation

Woke up in the morning to the most gorgeous ocean view - we enjoyed our coffee while watching porpoises and pelicans from our deck. Home sits on a beautiful calm beach that is perfect for relaxation, freebie and football throwing. We went to sleep listening to the ocean waves. Home is spacious, nicely furnished with a great kitchen and well stocked. It was the most memorable getaway ever for our family gathering. Everyone had an amazing time. We had a lovely time. Beautiful ocean views from every level. Comfortable home. A bit remote for us, but we don’t know the area. Definitely need a car for everything. Hosts were extremely lovely and attentive.

Perfect getaway

This property was absolutely as advertised. From the breathtaking views of the Pacific, to the immaculate condition of the home, we had a fantastic time. There were eight of us, with four children ranging in age is from 10 to 15. They had a wonderful time playing on the beach, kayaking and paddle boarding. The homeowner was amazing in all of his communication and made us feel at home. We would definitely come to this home again. Highly recommended!

Perfect in every way

The home was everything we hoped for and more. We have stayed in many places and this home was the most remarkable. This home tells a story and leaves room for you to tell yours. This home’s story is one of subtle luxury and meaningful travels - both of these ideas inspired our trip. The owners were easy to communicate with, responsive, and reasonable. Once in a lifetime experience in Malibu

Our family regularly rents homes on VRBO, but this was the most beautiful location of them all. It is right on the ocean, walking distance from Malibu amenities. The home is fully stocked for cooking and ocean activities. There was plenty of room for two families to stay and reconnect. Dennis and Leah were wonderful hosts. And the property managers were nearby if we needed anything. Book immediately if you are lucky enough to find this home available.

Amazing setting

Big family event to celebrate a graduation. Dennis made us feel very welcome. The views and spot are just perfect. Wonderful hours were spent on the decks, watching the surfers and waves. Lots of space to visit and play games.

A Place of Dreams

I cannot imagine a more perfect location than this home. Beachfront. Sand no matter the tide. This little stretch of beach is protected by wind. Kind neighbors. A very well loved and cared for home. And Dennis and Leah could not possibly be more kind, straightforward in all communication, and just overall ideal hosts. My family stayed here for 6 weeks Feb-March 2021 and never wanted to leave. I could not recommended this place more highly, especially for families with young kids.
