Was Lied to About Important Information

I asked if this property uses perfumed laundry soap on their sheets and towels before we booked since I’m highly sensitive to the chemicals in these perfumes. I was told no we do not. That was a lie…the towels were loaded with perfume and so were the sheets. With so many people with allergies also why would you use that? I spent the entire time with a migraine headache and had serious trouble sleeping while in the unit. I tried to find another Vrbo but none were now available in the area. Also to get to the beach you have walk down the street about half a mile. The traffic and old decrepit street makes this walk awful. Malibu has really changed since we left CA…lived there for over 20 yrs…what a dramatic change to Malibu. I had to throw away my expensive pillow I brought and pajamas since the perfume absorbs into them and you can’t get it out. One morning around 7:00 am the smoke alarm went off when a teenager put bread in a toaster…but the smoke alarm goes off throughout the entire property. All the people in the units came outside where the alarm was also…no escaping the sound. There was no one on the property to deal with this and no one to call…took about 45 minutes before one of the guests found the control box. The unit was clean though and we were greeted by a nice person who made sure we got into the unit late.

Incredible Stay

We had a great experience from start to finish at this location. The building was clean and had all the amenities necessary. The location is great, the patio area is very relaxing with the waves crashing just beneath the property and the view is amazing. Check in/out process was seamless. If you are considering staying here I would highly recommend it.

Always an amazing time!

Love staying at the stay away properties in Malibu. This was our third time and our first in unit 5 but we will definitely be returning! The views and sound of the ocean from the living room were incredible. Thanks to Matthew and team for keeping everything so clean and peaceful

Felt like a neater version of my own home

The amenities were great and I like the comforts of the small kitchen. Great location to places in Malibu and a nice drive to the city along the coast. Wasn’t as far as it initially seemed on GPS from the airport.

Exceeded our expectations

My husband had business meetings in LA and we decided to make a family trip out of it. We spent 5 days there. There was great communication prior to our arrival. Our host was Daniela. She met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. She was so helpful! It was an easy check-in. No card key. We had our unique code to get in. The property was gated so it felt very private and safe. Our unit had an ocean view from our front room. It was a one bedroom/one bath unit. Super clean and very modern. We had everything we needed. The nespresso coffee machine was great, on site washer and dryer was a life-saver. There was a pullout style couch. The kids did not mind it. The loungers were great. We watched a lot of sunsets from there. Direct access to the Beach was amazing!! They’re located 2 buildings away from Nobu. We walked to dinner there one of the nights. It’s conveniently located too! We will definitely be back. We loved the staff and the property! This is a little gem!

Relaxing staycation

Very clean and modern with everything you need for a short stay (stocked kitchenette with crate and barrel dishes, flatware, small appliances) The robes and extra bedding are carefully packed and locked with zip ties which made me feel like it was all freshly cleaned and untouched by others. Also their site says they wash all towels even unused towels between stays. The sofa bed is a bludot platform style and probably better for those who don’t mind a very firm platform style. My kids liked it. The bed in the bedroom is much softer. Quiet and private with amazing ocean views and even a little sand area and lawn which was great for my kids because of high tide during the mornings.

Staycation

This was the perfect getaway/staycation for our little family. Kurt was very accommodating and even set up our pack and play for our baby. Our villa was perfect…and was in a beautiful location. We will definitely recommend these villas to our family and friends
