“This property was amazing! Upon arrival the host was in contact with all the information and made getting to the property very easy and is exactly as shown on the site. This is a very safe area with everything within walking distance- Duval St, beaches and restaurants. The pool is clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this VRBO if visiting Key West and if available for my next visit will use it as my spot to stay!”

“A short walk from the busy docks, the property offered the unexpected pleasure of staying in our own peaceful and private garden enclave. The nature-inspired design of the pool and the lush tropical foliage invited lingering on the lounge chairs and the porch. The patch of grass, although artificial, made great terrain for water fights, a game of beachball soccer, and sunbathing on a towel. “This place was awesome. Location was great. The only real problem I had was that "my" bed did not make the trip with us. No matter where I stay, my bed at home is always more comfortable. There is no way to fix this. It is my own personal demon. Everything was as described. The manager was easy to communicate with. I give it a 6 out of 5 stars.”

“We had 3 adults varying ages celebrating a 30th birthday. The house couldn't have been more perfect. Charm alongside the perfect layout for personal space as well as areas to be together at the pool family room or dining room. The pool amazing. House immaculate with all amenities needed. Bikes to rent are just a couple blocks away (walking) we had no issue parking for one car. Easy bike ride or nice walk to Duvall. And our host Melanie was a star! “This was our first time visiting Key West and we stayed at the Sailor House at the end of April. The home was very clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and the location was very convenient. The front porch, back patio, upstairs back deck and balcony were nice outside options to read a book or drink a morning coffee. A block away was a shop where we rented bikes for the day and a golf cart for 4 hours another day. Moondog Cafe and El Siboney were two of our favorite restaurants...

“Stayed here with my 12 year old son and had a great Memorial Day Weekend in Key West! The place is quaint but very tidy and convenient / central to all parts of the island. Just as advertised, and communication with owner was great. We had a blast!”

“The location of the home was top notch - only a few minutes walk to Duval, but still very quiet and relaxing for when you return. The home has a lot of charm and you can tell the owners have put in updates, while still keeping the island home feel. The private pool was one of my favorite things … spent hours in or around it. “So glad we found this location. Nice and peaceful but close to anything we needed. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing, watching boats go by. The house was very comfortable. Only wish the 2nd bedroom had a working TV. Our host was quick to answer any issue we had and left some great suggestions on places to eat. I would definitely return to enjoy this beautiful location”

“The location, overlooking Duval Street, is perfect. The place is huge, comfortably sleeping 6, and is dog friendly. Very clean, with all of the amenities. Just note that, if you have somebody that is disabled with you, there is a steep staircase with no elevator. Also, there is only parking for one vehicle, so if there are six of you staying there, you had better hope that you all came in the very same car. I can't recommend that three groups of 2 meet up there, planning on parking three cars.”
