Tranquil stay

Jamie and Damon provided everything to make this stay enjoyable. They even provided firewood for the outdoor pit and ingredients for smores!!! What a beautiful, tranquil spot, close to walking trails and the beach. Would highly recommend for your vacation!

North Woods Beauty

My wife and I and our grandson took delight in our stay in the woods on the Bay of Fundy. We came so we could visit Campobello and the Roosevelt cottage. This beautifully appointed cabin made for a perfect couple of nights. The hosts have thought of everything, which is especially important when there are not a lot of stores nearby. The kitchen and the grill were easy to use and had all the needed utensils, plates, etc. We heartily recommend this lovely place.

Hidden Gem on Bold Coast

Damon and Jamie’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for—a quiet escape surrounded by nature, with the ocean just a short walk away. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well equipped with everything to make our stay easy. Will definitely return again and highly, highly recommend for an off-the beaten retreat to Maine’s Bold Coast.

A memorable winter get-away

I cannot begin to say how wonderful our stay was. The grounds are stunning and so very quiet at night, the cabin is immaculate, and the view of the bay is indescribably beautiful. Be sure to look up and take in the stars at night!

Lubec Cabin

A very peaceful and relaxing environment. Quick and easy access to beach from cabin where we enjoyed early morning walk with our dog. We stayed late in the season so essentially had the place to ourselves, which we highly recommend if you like a quiet getaway. Lots of walking trails in the immediate area. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. Great location. Good hiking and walking trails nearby. Cabin was very clean; it had everything we needed. We are looking forward to coming back with our grandchildren. We highly recommend this cabin.

Even More Than Expected!

The Lighthouse Cabin was a pure delight! It is so well equipped that we could have arrived with nothing but our suitcases and food and we would have been all set. It has EVERYTHING we needed for our week in Lubec. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

Everything about this cabin was perfect for me. I loved the coziness of the cabin and the short walk to the beach where I walked everyday. The kitchen is well stocked and there is even a washer/dryer and a dishwasher which I didnt realize ahead of time.

Wonderful vacation getaway

A sweet cabin in the woods. The moment you walk into the cabin, you know you are "home". Lots of attention to detail. After a long, dark, foggy drive it was so nice to arrive at the cabin and see a big bowl of snacks waiting for us and the dogs even had their own welcome basket. Very dog-friendly location. Comfortable furnishings, excellent mattress with lots of pillows. kitchen is well equipped with whatever you need. perfect location in a quiet residential neighborhood with a view of the water The fire pit was perfect on a chilly night. many conservation areas nearby for dog walks and exploring nature. . We loved it so much we've already booked our vacation for next year. Carla is an amazing host and was available to answer questions throughout our stay.

Maine’s Shangri-La (Earthly Paradise)

This was our second stay at the Lighthouse Cabin. I enjoyed the same peaceful/zen atmosphere I had last year. It is THE place to escape the crazy world and every day life. A big thank you to Damon, Jamie and Carla for making this possible (through their hard work, consideration, availability and commitment to making their guests feel at home). We are already looking forward to next year’s stay in the Mainly Cabin!!! I may have my sister and brother-in-law convinced into renting the Lighthouse or American next year.

Paradise

Perfect cabin at perfect location. Well stocked with everything you could need for a great stay. Host really put some time and effort into the place with plenty of information on local activities, restaurants, maps.......Trail to a beach right from the back porch. 1 minute drive to hiking trails. I could go on and on about how great this place is. It was in fact Paradise.

Lovely stay outside of Lubec

Enjoyed our stay in this quiet oceanfront location. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and feel at home. There are many trails in the area and we enjoyed walking and visiting the area with our two dogs. There is a rocky beach just a few yards from the cabin and access is easy for walking along the beach when the tide is low. There are also kayaks that can be used by guests to get a closer look at the beauty and wildlife that live in the bay.

Best place to stay

This is our second visit to the Lighthouse Cabin and it was just as good as our first. The cabin is immaculately clean and so many supplies even down the ingredients for s’mores! It is a short walk down to a beautiful beach . On our fist day we saw a HUGE bald eagle on the shore eating a fish! We collected list of sea glass and other treasures. The wild raspberries were ripe and we enjoyed some every day. The town of Lubec is very quaint and small but the gift shops are nice and people are friendly. We went over to Campobello and visited a lighthouse there. Lots of places to go hiking and of course a swim in the ocean if you are brave enough… brrr! The property manager is a gem and the owners are super fast to respond if you need anything . Will definitely go again!

The way life should be

Everything was perfect and just as described. The only thing I would change is a more comfortable chair / loveseat in front of the TV (I'm 6'4")… but we didn’t spend much time watching TV anyway, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The cabin was very well equipped with everything we could need. Great nearby trails, super close to the beach for those morning walks, wonderful outdoor sitting area and fire pit. All very thoughtfully put together. A great stay!

Fantastic place to stay

This was our 2nd stay at this location, though this time we stayed in Lighthouse cabin, Americana being booked already. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful beach, very clean, comfortable bed, and complimentary snacks and smores ingredients. Carla the manager has gone above and beyond to help us! Thank you for providing such a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay

The cabin was nice and had everything that you would need. Very quiet. We enjoyed a campfire nights it didn't rain. Short walk to the beach. Great area - plenty of places to hike. Plan on staying again.

Perfect New England getaway

This was everything we needed to both recharge our batteries and have new adventures. The cabin is remarkably private. The beach kept our 9 and 12 year olds busy exploring for hours on end. The location is within a ten minute drive to Quoddy Head Lighthouse, along with numerous walking trails and historic sites. Perfect place for family bonding and making memories.
