Family Friendly Home Close to Hiking, Lakes and Restaurants

Three levels of living space with room for everyone. The house is within walking distance to West Hill Recreation Area.

The lower level has a large living room with non-working fireplace, wet bar/kitchenette, one bedroom and one bathroom. The second floor is the main living level with a kitchen, dining area and living room with another wood fireplace (fire place repaired 07/2020). There are two bedrooms and a bathroom located on this level as well. The third level has two additional bedrooms and another bathroom. Multiple living areas are great for families with young or adult children - both living areas have TVs with access to Apple TV or Roku.

The second story deck has an outdoor seating area, great for enjoying coffee in the warmer months as you listen to the stream that cuts through the back of the property. There is also an outdoor dining area and propane barbecue, which can be used during all seasons. The walkway attached to the deck wraps around to the front of the house.

Walking Distance attractions:
West Hill Recreation Area - Lakefront recreation area has a pond, fishing area, two basketball courts, covered picnic area, hiking trails, horseshoe pit and playing fields.

Okemo Mountain Base Area: In the spring/Summer months you can walk around the base area, take the lift up the mountain for a scenic ride or utilize the mountain biking trails on the lower half of the mountain.

3.4 miles to Jackson Gore Base Area - Okemo Mt. Adventure Zone located here, offering year-round fun for the entire family. Activities include Sawyer’s Sweep Zipline Tour, Segway off-roading tour, Amp Energy Air Bag, Rock Climbing Wall, Lumberin Cal’s Miniature Golf Course and 18-hole Disc Golf

4.3 miles from Buttermilk Falls - Trail is a 0.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Ludlow, Vermont that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and nature trips and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

6.0 miles from Healdville Trail - Okemo Mountain via Healdville Trail is a 5.6 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Mount Holly, Vermont that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

7.5 miles from Camp Plymouth State Park. Camp Plymouth State Park is a 295-acre state park on 96-acre Echo Lake in Ludlow, Vermont. Activities include swimming, hiking, picnicking, playground, fishing, boating, horseback riding, wildlife watching, winter sports and group camping. Boat, kayak and paddleboard rentals are available at the concession stand.

Firewood is provided and can be used in either fire place or the outdoor fire pit.
