“We were pretty disappointed with the service at the Bistro. It took far too long to get our breakfast, the kitchen seemed unable to meet the requests of the guests in an efficient manner & were running out of key ingredients. We asked for brown bread which they were out of, then it was sausage & bacon, then they couldn't find the decaf coffee, they were out of fruit, etc., etc. The key pads to the room would work one minute then not the next minute.”

It felt more like a dated cottage or camp cabin. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with no consistent style or attention to detail. “Great stay. Petty Harbour room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the private bathroom with shower and Native brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was a definite highlight during which the owner Rob offered recommendations and advice on the local sites, stories, and jokes a plenty. Fantastic location. Would absolutely stay again.”

“My room was prefect over looking the harbour with a clear view of the harbour entrance and signal hill. Staff was very friendly and very helpful suppers were excellent with a wide variety to choose from on the menu. A good location very walkable to all downtown attractions including George street.”
