Great spot right on the golf course!

Very nicely accommodated with enough room for our group. We enjoyed the third level kitchen with views of the lake. Would definitely rent again!!

It was a perfect place to stay for our group of 7 adults. It had everything you need with a cool set-up while being aesthetically pleasing. Check in and check out was a breeze. Perfect location as well. Hope to get a chance to stay again!

Peaceful getaway

The house was the highlight of our north shore trip! Perfectly comfy with everything you could ever need. The three level layout was interesting with the top floor views over the lake with the wood stove being the crowd favorite.

Great Home Great Views

Stayed here with my family and it was amazing. Beautiful home with gorgeous views. Close to many amazing hikes. Host was wonderful, easy check in/out. Everything was clean and as expected. Would for sure come back!

MEA Stay

We loved this house, more than enough room with just our family, three kids and the dog. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. The views and location can’t be beat. It was a peaceful vacation.

Perfect for Golf Trip

We were staying here for a golf trip at Superior national, and this was a perfect location. A minute or two away from the course, the property was beautiful and had everything we needed. The top floor balcony was amazing for relaxing and hanging out with an incredible view but private feeling atmosphere. Highly recommend and would come back here!

Great Place

We had 7 guys go up to play golf for the weekend, and had a great stay at this place. We did encounter an issue with the grill but other then that would recommend to family/friends.

The Tree House Retreat - Great Location!!

We stayed at this beautiful home with our young adult children and relatives. We had a group of 9 and the house worked very well for our group. The beds were very comfortable and all rooms were spacious. There was lots of space for group gatherings on any level of the home Wonderful kitchen! The owners were wonderful and communicated with us often, assisting us with any questions we had throughout our stay The location is wonderful! Close to the skiing and local winery. We will definitely be back!

Great Family Getaway

We had a great time as a family ( 8 adults and 3 small children) at the beautiful Tree House! The layout of the property is unique and spacious. The views from the top floor are unmatched to the other places we have stayed in Lutsen. We spent most of our time as a family on the top level enjoying the views, the cozy fireplace, the open kitchen,huge dining table for meals and games! The property is great for a walk around the golf course and a short walk to the winery. Due to mild temperatures, we were able to enjoy the fire pit too! All bedrooms were comfortable, and the master suite is something special! We also really loved the second floor entertainment area...great for watching our favorite teams in the evenings after dinner. The proximity to Lutsen Mountain made for a quick car ride back and forth for some great skiing. The only bit of advice I would give in booking this property is if someone has trouble going up and down stairs, this may not be the place for you.Other than that, I highly recommend this gem on of the North Shore !

Review

The view from this home is wonderful…amazing views of Lake Superior from the beautiful top floor windows! We would stay here again but would hope that a number of negatives would be corrected. We were really looking forward to relaxing on the porch, but the cable railings were literally falling out of the post. It was not safe for children or pets! Several doors did not lock and the entrance door to the house from the garage would not latch. This door was ajar when we arrived, which was an odd feeling. The kitchen counters, cupboards, and extra island provide a lot of space for cooking and serving, but the kitchen could be stocked better with utensils and mixing/serving bowls. Amount of nice mugs, plastic plates, and bowls was fine. Tea kettle with lid is needed. It would have been nice to have more than two loads of laundry detergent. Not all bedrooms have blinds, and a few people in our party wished there were window treatments for sleeping later in the morning. The house has a bit of a quirky layout, but the top floor open concept view and excellent location for north shore activities made for a wonderful stay.

Location, location, location

Beautiful views from every window. The east side looks out to Lake Superior. Very close to several quality restaurants, skiing, hiking and snowmobile trails. Enough bedrooms for our families. Nicely decorated. There are a few very minor things (like knobs) that need completed but communicated those with the owner who is very polite and responsive. This house is three levels. The lower level where you enter has an apartment by itself and nice for a couple/family that needs its own space. It has kitchen like accommodations and its own living room space. The middle level is a family room w TV and three bedrooms. The master is beautiful with fantastic windows and views. Everyone commented on the comfortable beds and bedding! The kitchen, dining and another living area with fire stove is on the top level. Lovely open concept. There are two beverage refrigerators there but the main tall frig is in the middle area where the TV room bar is located. Despite the absence of that main frig, it’s a great kitchen space and the stove is fire! I think we used all the spaces in our 3 night stay! Not a place for people who can’t do steps though. You can be on one level but you naturally move from kitchen/dining level to bedroom levels frequently. So very conveniently close to Lutsen!! And trails!! Unfortunately state of MN does not allow hot tubs in rentals. That would have been awesome. The outside accommodations looked super fun with gorgeous deck perched high enough to see the lake and a lovely fire pit area down on the grounds (covered w snow for our stay) but one can see a great bonfire on a summer night!! Not a traditional layout for a house but great spaces and very roomy for the 8 of us!! We all loved it and enjoyed our stay.

Very clean. Excellent views of Lake Superior. Host very accommodating in helping us book at the last minute. Lots of stairs - 3 levels- resulting in stunning views from the top level. 8 adults were very comfortable. So close to Lutsen Mountains ski area.
