“What a perfect setting in the woods and close to everything ie. Lutsen and Grand Marais. A few initial small glitches; however, Mr. Smothers was MORE than accommodating especially given it was Thanksgiving day. Pool was closed; however, the public pool in Grand Marais was open. A setting were several quiet walks with family was very relaxing and therapeutic! I HIGHLY recommend THE HIBERNATION HOUSE! ”

“Tom was a fabulous host. He was very kind in allowing us to book another night on the front end, as a winter blizzard was approaching. The home was well equipped and super comfortable--and the perfect location for accessing the trails. And he even helped push my buddy's truck out of a snowdrift. We can't wait to come back!”
