“If you want to be an easy walking distance to the market, the seaside, great restaurants, the cable car, etc., you cannot find a better apartment than this one in Zona Velma! It is a simple apartment that was comfortable and clean. Small kitchen for preparing simple meals. Sea view from kitchen window. Nice balcony with a pretty street view. I did not find the street very noisy. I would recommend this apartment for a great Funchal experience! ”

I asked for simple things like soap and towels and she responded by saying one bottle of soap was enough for 3 bathrooms and 1 bathroom towel per person was enough for 6 days. The door to the pool was hard to open and the host showed me how to open but made me feel like I should have been able to figure that out.
