This apartment is in a great location, within 10 minutes walk to the royal palace, lots of shopping places and restaurants. The apartment is very clean, AC is good, has everything you need, and the beds are comfortable. Pedro is a great host and responded quickly. My family had a great stay.It is on the fourth floor of an old apartment without elevator, if you do have heavy luggages, get prepared for some lifting.

Great Location! Near everything by foot. There are steps, no elevator, but that was not a problem. We had a balcony looking over the square and a great little coffee/wine shop downstairs.

Wonderful location and especially the apartment. Pedro was very receptive to us. Loved the personal effects in his one time family home. Made us feel At Home ourselves! Locations centrally situated to most everything in Madrid. Steps from Plaza Mayor which many locals also visit so its not just tourists. I actually enjoyed the 8 or so flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor -- got my work in. Its worth it!

This is an authentic Spanish style apartment. Its very well situated behind the Plaza Mayor in a very busy part of town. There are a ton of restaurants right outside the apartment. Despite all the excitement of the location, you don't really hear anything inside the apartment. Very quiet while inside. It does have a nice balcony that overlooks the bustling area four floors below.

Great location if you want to be centrally located. Surrounded by culture and city life. Accommodations were very quiet considering the location.

Pedro is likely the nicest man in Spain and made sure we found place and got settled easily. Great location and very comfortable. Only downside was 4 floor and no elevator, but historic district and not allowed to put one in apparently.

Outstanding stay

Family home

We both feel very privileged to have been able to share Pedro‘s family property. The location and view of the plaza was better than expected. We will definitely revisit this property next time we visit Madrid.

A gem in the heart of Madrid

Pedro met us at the property and gave us a lovely welcome and orientation. We loved staying in a central location and found the apartment to be very comfortable. It was really neat to stay in a place with a lot of history , and loved the colors/decor in the apartment. Will definitely return next time we are in Madrid. Thanks Pedro!

Wonderful stay. Pedro was so kind when we were hours late from delayed flights and a phone plan that disallowed messaging temporarily. Very much appreciated him. Charming place, wonderfully situated in the old town, and beautiful views from our balcony.

Top of Plaza de la Provincia

Right next to Plaza Mayor and walking distance of so much more. This flat was perfect for my 18 year old daughter and me. We hit Madrid all day and the came back to this comfortable flat at night where we could watch Madrid go to sleep from the balcon.

As we were walking, with our bags, looking for the right place, Pedro came out to meet us. What a lovely welcome. The apartment is in a wonderful location, just behind Plaza Mayor. The apartment, is pretty, decorated with love. Pedro had graciously left a bottle of wine for us. the apartment had everything we needed, great location - near restaurants, supermarkets and all the sites we went to were in walking distance. Pedro is an outstanding host - ready to answer all our questions and offer useful tips.

Excellent location and nice views.

The property is lovely, the location is very central to everywhere in Madrid. It has everything you need, the owner is very nice and helpful, he stays in contact and is always on hand to answer any questions you may have. The only thing we found hard was all the stairs to climb but by the end of our holiday we felt much fitter so maybe a good thing. I would definitely recommend this apartment, we had a brilliant holiday.

Perfect location to explore central Madrid

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights in this apartment next to the Plaza Major. Pedro was a welcoming host and gave us several recommendations for food & drinks in the neighborhood. We’re looking forward to returning some day to explore more of Madrid. Muchas Gracias!!
