  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

This cabin exceeded every expectation we had. This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and are all ready talking of making it an annual event. The colors were awe inspiring and something we will never forget. It's hard to put into words just how beautiful this cabin and the mountains are in late October. Truly amazing. Very comfortable stay! Loved that there was a tv in each space. Kitchen well stocked. The fire table was very convenient for smore’s right on the porch. Keurig machine was a hit for quick coffee.Plenty of space to spread out and the views were spectacular. Everything was very clean upon arrival. Sat on deck every day to stare out into the distance and enjoy the occasional visits from hummingbirds.Close to lots of fun adventures in GSMNP! Cherookee Rapids is a must for adventure goers. It was our second time and it did not disappoint! Forgot to mention if you’re Gen X the pacman arcade did NOT DISAPPOINT! We spent a lot of time trying to beat our high scores!

Unfortunately we were not able to stay. The cabin was beautiful but due to having my elderly mother we could not stay with all the stairs. Be aware that you do not enter this cabin from the main level as most cabins. You enter from the lower level and have to go up 2 flights of stairs to living area and it doesn't have a bedroom on that level. Thankfully Vrbo was very helpful in this situation.

Relaxing escape

Enjoyed the cool mornings on the porch each of the nine days we were there. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The sunrises were beautiful as were the lightning bugs at night.

Cozy and Clean

By far the cleanest place I ever rented. Spectacular sunrise views. Everything was just as described in the listing. Communication was fabulous and fast. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. Lovely visit!!

Loved it!

The driveway was steep and the leaves were wet, so we parked at the bottom of the hill and chilled all weekend in the home. It was super cozy and relaxing. We especially loved the fireplace and the wraparound porch. I spotted 15 different bird species the first morning of our stay! We even saw a few deer. :) overall a lovely place and fabulous hosts.

Relaxing time in the mountains

This was such a relaxing place to stay! The view was fantastic and my family loved grilling, playing, reading, and making smores out on the deck. Watching the clouds and storms roll over the mountains was incredible. Our host was wonderful! Before we arrived we were alerted by the host that there was a brief power outage in the neighborhood. When we got to the house we found a flashlight placed on each night stand. It was so kind. The response to questions or concerns was unbelievably prompt and gave us such a peaceful stay there. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Gorgeous views, beautiful home

Three adults and two children stayed very comfortably in this beautiful spacious home for four nights. Wish we could have stayed a month! It was easy to get to on paved roads although high enough up the mountain for fantastic views. There was no yard for kids to play in but they enjoyed the loft, stairs, puzzles and games. We are happy that the host provided something for kids. Also glad there was a bathroom on each level. Very comfortable beds and furniture. We loved it!

Loved this cabin! Gorgeous view off the deck and bedrooms. Comfortable furniture and beds. Everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals. Ideal location for touring the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains! The hosts responded quickly if we had a question. Would definitely come back!

Simply Perfect

Our stay was absolutely magical. The sunrise every morning would have been enough to make me happy but we thoroughly enjoyed the area as well. We hiked to Mingo Falls, visited the Bamboo Forest in Cherokee and saw Elk at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We also explored the Blue Ridge Parkway. The mountains are my happy place and my two young nieces got their first experience in the beautiful mountains of NC. We appreciate the hospitality of Eve and her family so much we added an extra day to our stay. I HIGHLY recommend this perfect cabin. We also counted 69 bears in the fun decor of the house, but may have missed 1 or 2. Thank you for

Beautiful property...had everything we needed.

Check in was very easy. Everything was just as listed, very well stocked kitchen and beautifully decorated. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They suggested we be sure to catch the sunrise the next morning,which we did and it was stunning. Amazing views from the upper deck.
