  • Located in the heart of town, this 2 Bedroom plus loft 3 bathroom Townhouse in Mammoth Lakes California is quiet, comfortable and a great value. Each bedroom has its own full bath plus there is a 3/4 bath off the living area. This property offers a swimming pool, two spas, sauna, and laundry facilities. Parking is available right in front of the units. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Hop on one of two free winter shuttles in the area and off you go to a fun filled day of skiing! All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Mammoth Sierra Townhomes, offering some of the best floorplans in town with plenty of bathrooms and convenience, is ideal for groups. Living Area: Full sofa sleeper (TV,VCR,DVD,CD), kitchen with high counter and bar chairs, dining area, pellet stove, deck and 3/4 bath. Master: Queen bed and full bath (TV). Nice and clean

The property and nice and clean when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and there were no issues at all.

Deferred maintenance couldn’t ruin our trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Driving up I saw a hole and scrapes in the siding. When I opened the door a musty smell hit me. I know it was an amazing and sometimes awful year for snow, so I’m thinking this place got some water damage and needs an update. Curtains in the back bedroom were stained significantly. Upstairs bathroom shower door has to be lifted to be moved, it must be off track or needing an update somehow. Stove isn’t level, so when you’re cooking that’s kinda annoying. Light fixture in kitchen is broken in about 3 places. And there weren’t screens for back bedroom or living room, so if you want a door open, you’re going to have bugs. Having said all that, we’ve rented in this area for years because the location is greatFor walking to restaurants, etc. we rented 3 condos, so we just spent most of our time at the nicest one. I wouldn’t personally stay at 21 again unless it gets some upgrades.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: ++Condo was cleanAll equippment worked wellLocation is close to Vons and shuttle-Parking situation is HORRIBLE. You need to know how to manouver on pure thick ice if you want to park your car. It is UNSAFE. They didnt bother to put salt on the ice once when we were there. During the day when is warmer the ice melts and you will be parking in the pool of water. And walking through the pool of water. Then the water freezes and it is pure thick ice again. Extremely slippery.They advertise 2 parking spaces. After we booked we were told that only 1 space is available. That is understandable - a lot of snow. BUT they should tell us where to park free of charge for the duration of out stay or reimburse us for parking. They told us to park overnight at a place where it was not possible to park. We had to find parking ourselves or pay 40 usd per nigh at village parking.It was really the parking situation that ruined the experience for us and because it was horribly maintained, awfully handled, and very unsafe, the star amount reflects that.In this type of winter, I would not recommend the property.Walls are thin and you hear every step that is happening above you. Heating fan is extremely loud.

Reviewer Comments: Vacation Rental lacked window screens and glass sliding door screen so we were forced to open windows and doors because just one box fan was in the rental property so because of having windows open we got bitten by mosquitoes when we arrived some of the bed linen looked like it was not washed floors looked like they had not been vacuumed overall not happy with this rental property probably would not rent location again or recommend it

Heater never worked and it was freezing cold, we had young children with us and that made them very uncomfortable.The first person to take a shower is the one who gets a hot shower, may I suggest installing a tankless water heater....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It would be fair to say that condo 21 could use some improvements. The kitchen range/stove is very old. The loft vent system for the heat creates relentless noise. However, despite those inconveniences, the condo offers a great shuttle location and the complex at MST is quiet. My ratings below reflect my vacation overall experience

Old dirty condo

The property is filthy. Dusty. Stained furniture..curtains. the couch is literally torn and falling apart. The kitchen is disgusting. Heating system doesn't work properly..floors crack..beds incredibly uncomfortable. Sheets..blankets..old..dirty... totally ripped off for the cost.

We have also stayed at Mammoth Sierra Townhomes ( units 24, 27 and 21) on several occasions. Our experience continues to be positive.

This was an excellent alternative. The unit was clean and everything worked. The unit is only two blocks from a mall with a VONS and shops. The staff was helpful as well.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The design of the rental was cool. It was 3 stories which is not mentioned in the details. The property was clean. The only problem whic was a big one for us is that the stove/oven did not work properly. It was extremely old. The oven kept turning off & the vent did not work so all the smoke would come out which would turn the smoke detectors on & making it difficult to breath. Only 1 of the stove tops worked so we couldn't cook 2 things at once. Had I known this in advance I would've booked a different property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was good. The layout is nice. The furniture and some of the amenities need to be repaired/ updated. There is no WiFi so keep that in mind if you have work to do. Most units at this price offer free WiFi these days. I'm not sure if I would ever choose this unit to stay in again. Maybe if it were the last available which was the case this stay. The one good thing about this place is the location is great.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a good location. Outdated but we didn't care about that. We did wish there were dogs allowed but I understand some people don't want dogs in their property. The biggest thing we didn't like was that we weren't allowed to use the washer and dryer. We pay a decent amount of money to be allowed to use whatever the rental has in it. There was wifi but we didn't have the password to that either. I don't think we would stay at this place again.
