“This was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend a long baseball weekend. We were close to the ball fields my grandson was playing on. Lockport is a cute little town. We felt safe in this location. We commuted about 45 min to downtown Chicago to visit several tourist attractions. The house has a full kitchen, nice dining room and living room. Everything in the house was clean and in good shape. We definitely will be staying here again for future tournaments or Chicago visits!”

“We had a great stay at this home in Joliet for a weekend golf trip with three of my buddies. “Place was perfect! I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and wanted to come back to honor my grandmother's 90th birthday. This place was perfect. It had a piano and the pastor was able to serinate her in playing church hymnals. Of course, her famiy, fch family, family and friends were all able to show”

“We stayed for 9 nights in July 2025 with 4 people and 3 dogs. The home was perfect for us: clean, well-appointed, well-located close to the city, all-one-floor (one of us is handicapped), plenty of parking (even for additional visitors), and a large fenced-in yard. “From the time we first inquired about this VRBO until the day we checked out, the owner communicated quickly very quickly to whatever question we had.The home is lovely and the view of the golf course from the back deck is refreshing and relaxing. “Great house for two families (one kid each). The host was very attentive. The dishwasher was broken and she had a technician out the night we arrived to fix it. We thought the pack n play was broken and she immediately ordered a new one that was delivered in 30 minutes. “The owner was very prompt, professional and friendly during booking and pretrip arrival. The home on the Kankakee River had comfortable furniture, beds and chairs.The kitchen had all high -end and functional appliances. “We highly recommend the place and the host (Alina) is nice and very accommodating.The house is neat and the things that we needed are provided already including laundry items. Our concerns are directly addressed right away whenever we have one.We love our staycation and it's just at least 45 minutes away from Chicago downtown. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. It's just like home away from home but near the city.”
