“Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. The few staff that were there were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again for a night of quiet and solitude, but would bring a few thing with me for more comfort. A few things that was missing though. I paid for cabin with gas fireplace and it didn't work and no one was on property to deal with it. There was no blankets other than thin bedspread which meant I had to turn up the heat and would have rather had a real blanket. And there was no real...

“Definitely cute comfortable and clean and well equipped, except for paper towels;) no biggie! Perfect for 2-5 people. Very close to waterfront or dock within sight distance however i wished it a bit closer but all and all no real complaints only compliments. Great and cery attentive host! I would for sure visit lady slipper house again!”

“It was very clean and cozy. The weather was still cold to catch any fish so we stayed in more than planned. Located in a convenient spot. Close to restaurants and party store. Just over an hour to Traverse city. Not too far for groceries. Only could stay 3 nights. Communication from owners A. My husband made a good choice for our short getaway. Close to the lake and a marina. I would go back here. ”

“This property is beautiful. Matt and Becky were so easy to work with and their communication is great. They were always quick to answer any questions we had. The cabin feels like "home". We brought our 2 small dogs and they had so much fun exploring the many trails and just hanging out around the huge deck. This could not have been more perfect. This is our first time taking a "relaxing" vacation and just hanging out, nothing planned, no excursions or time line. We will go back again. ”

“My husband and I stay at this property (if it’s available) every time we visit St. Helen. The location is ideal, the house is cozy, well-stocked, clean and very comfortable. The garage is a major bonus, such a fun and relaxing place to hang out after a day of riding. The property manager is extremely accommodating and considerate. I can’t say enough nice things about this place, we absolutely love it.”

“Perfect little cottage right on the lake with amazing views. My son and I came for a couple days of fishing. We caught a few bass and crappie right off the dock. We also used the pontoon for a day but windy weather kept us from catching more. The boat itself is very nice. The property has a small sandy beach and shallow sandy bottom water that would have been great for smaller kids in warmer weather.”

“Thank you so much for allowing my husband to stay here for 2 weeks while he was working in the area. We realize it was probably not your typical booking request. My kids and I stayed for the first week. The cabin is so cute and fishing from the dock was so fun.
