Shadowland River Lodge on Boardman River - Pet Friendly - Acreage - Private

  • Shadowland River Lodge se encuentra aprox. 12 millas al sudeste del centro de Traverse City. Está ubicado cerca del centro de 33 acres de tierra privada con más de 1.300 pies de frente a lo largo del río Boardman. La estructura original de la cabina se construyó en 1929 y en años posteriores se agregó a la inclusión de una cocina, comedor, baño completo, vestidor, cuarto de servicio y un dormitorio principal junto al río. Shadowland River Lodge actualmente tiene capacidad para 8 personas con una cama queen en el dormitorio principal y un conjunto de literas en la estructura principal de la cabaña de troncos junto con un futón de doble tamaño. Estacionalmente, hay una opción para que dos duerman en el desván que tiene una entrada exterior. También es exclusivo de Shadowland River Lodge la capacidad de tener familiares y amigos para armar carpas o campistas emergentes en la propiedad. Esto puede permitir que toda su familia disfrute en esencia de su propio campamento privado.

Shadowland far exceeded our expectations. The cottage was wonderful. We loved everything about it. The location was perfect; so private and serene. The hosts have gone above and beyond in the presentation of the property and the cottage. We definitely plan on returning. Thank you for the memories!

What a special place this is- truly a retreat! Our family of four (including two little ones) had a great time playing in the river, finding pinecones and frogs, and enjoying the beautiful setting. The cabin was immaculate and well appointed for a young family.Nicole and Jason are exceptional hosts. It is obvious that they love this place and take pride and joy in sharing with others. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We are repeat visitors and each experience we have is excellent! The hosts are wonderful and top notch in their communication and responsiveness. The property is so beautiful, nestled on the Boardman River, and the cabin is the jewel with its vintage charm and comfortable coziness! Loved every minute!

My wife and I stayed at Shadowland River Lodge for a babymoon and it was the perfect getaway. Jason and Nicole are wonderful hosts. They greet you at the beginning of your stay to show you around the property and the lodge, which is fantastic. The property is in the perfect spot, far enough from town you can disconnect but close enough to enjoy all Traverse City has to offer. We will be back in the future!

We had an amazing time at Shadowland!! Check in with Jason and Nicole was a great start to our stay!! We loved chatting and learning the history of the beautiful home! The home was very well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed!! The weather was a bit to be desired, but we took the opportunity to play games and enjoy the fireplace!! We would love to stay at Shadowland again some day!!

This was our first time staying at Shadowland and it did not disappoint. It’s a very special place and I hope we get a chance to go back. Jason and Nicole met us there and walked us through the property which was a nice touch. Wonderful people! The property was better than expected. Everything was very clean and they really had everything you would need and more. The only challenging part was the one bathroom. With a family of five it was little challenging at times having only one toilet. Overall it was a great time at shadowland. We definitely will be back.

We are truly grateful to Jason and Nicole for their incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us warmly, gave us a tour, and made us instantly comfortable. The cabin was perfectly stocked with everything we could need, and its secluded location by the beautiful river created the ideal setting for our anniversary. Their thoughtful gesture of providing a bottle of wine with chilled glasses went above and beyond. Evenings by the fire pit with s’mores were magical, and relaxing in the hot tub under the cool night air added the perfect finishing touch. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. Debra & Rick

Host were great. We appreciated meeting the host him showing us everything. All the amenities were great. We loved the privacy and peacefulness of the place. The property was awesome our dog loved every bit of it. Love to come back in the early fall.

Once again, we loved our stay at Shadowland River Lodge. We had a wonderfully snowy weekend made cozy by the fire reading and playing games while looking out at the beautiful river views and relaxing in the hot tub after cross country skiing nearby. Well appointed cabin with a private setting and so much charm! We’ll be back!
