“Wonderful property can't wait to go back”

“Our stay at sunset ranch was comfortable. The location was perfect for Big Bend National Park.Everything was as described and the host was helpful from start to finish.”

“Plenty of room for a family of 6 and all you need to cook meals in the kitchen. Quiet and convenient location too.”

“Can’t wait to stay here again. My children loved the hammocks. It was a little bright for a toddler nap but a “nap tent” can be purchased prior to arrival which is a fun way to fix that. I had no complaints!!!! Enjoy!!!!”

“I loved everything about it!!!! However the patio up top and the stars go great together!! It was by far the most comfy, cute place I’ve stayed. The calm and quiet was an added bonus! This is the way to go when traveling to Alpine! I can’t wait to visit again! Everything you need in a tiny, comfy place.”

“Cozy place. Room was clean and location was within city limits. Plan on booking again in the near future.”

“Clean location. Peaceful and host was very accommodating.”

The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water. There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...

My only complaint is that two weeks before the reservation I asked about if a portable grill, stovetop burner or small charcoal grill was aloud and then messaged two days before and never received an answer. I did have to contact the host day of to receive the code because somehow I didn’t get an email from the host about check in and WiFi code. That was sorted out when I called instead of...

“I loved the location, the setup of the house, the eye for detail, and convenience. Great place to stay when visiting the Alpine area.”

“What a great property! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this shipping container home - plenty of room for two of us. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. ”

“It was perfect for me”

“Was super and would stay again!! Just need to update information to proved WiFi. ”

“This was our first time to Alpine, Texas. My daughter had recently moved there. This was a great first experience for our two day. Stay there we even encountered a fox outside the screened in porch that we got to see highly recommend staying here.”

“Our stay was amazing! The property was clean and check-in/out was a breeze. Simplicity at its finest. The drive to Big Bend was easy from this location. Sat gazing on the top deck was perfection. Will definitely visit again. ”

“Very nice. Exactly how pictured”

“The place was nice and easy to get to. Hosts were friendly. No issues at all, fun place to stay if visiting Big Bend. ”
