Great family getaway

The home was large enough for our group, the pool and the dock was enjoyed by our grandkids.The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked with essentials.

Great little spot to stay in if you bring in a boat and plan on doing some fishing short trip to sombrero key

Very nice place but road is tight if you have a big boat 24' and entry to canal is very shallow at low tide

Perfect for families!

What a wonderful house. Landscaping and outdoor amenities were amazing. The hosts were thoughtful with excellent communication. The house had lots of space and everything you need for a great stay.

Manatee Cove

We loved the pool and tiki hut! We used them everyday and evening. We saw Manatee and my son enjoyed fishing off the dock. I only wish the king size mattress was in the main floor bedroom.

Great location, great property

Loved staying here with our family. Neighborhood is quiet, neighbors very friendly and welcoming. Property managers are nice and incredibly prompt to service any request or issue. Pool and tiki hut were a great place to spend the week!

Fun Christmas Getaway!

Great place to stay! Kitchen fully stocked. Loved hanging out on the dock. Fun for our older kids to get in the kayak and paddle board. Very clean when we arrived, and property management was quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect Private as Described

1st time Vrbo renter. All assurances were confirmed with quick response from property managers. You can rest assured with every amenity provided and leave the busy world behind. Definitely would rebook.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay at Manatee Cove, everyone loved the pool and hot tub, fishing right off the dock and daily manatee visits. Very close to several restaurants, shops and the beach. The house was clean and tidy, lots of games and books to keep you entertained on a not so sunny day. Definitely take the kayak and paddle board for a spin, my husband even fished in the kayak and had a blast. We can't wait till next year!

Paradise

We had a great stay at Manatee Cove! It was everything as advertised. It was cloudy and chilly the first few days, so we did't use the pool and hot tub very much. After the weather cleared, and it heated up, we used them quite a bit. Very relaxing to sit back and enjoy. We also loved the tiki hut. We are very happy with our stay and may come back next year! Thank you!

One of the best places ever

We arrived at 1 am and the place was just lighted up. Not scary dark, but light and welcome. The Tiki Hut and the pool were amazing. All the rooms were clean ad great for our group. The temperature in the house was 70 but we liked it more 75. The Manager helped up to rise the temperature. We saw manatee at the Dock. We had a great time.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

The location was perfect. The house was perfect, exactly as described. We had everything we needed to cook at the house the days we didn't go out to eat. The beds were comfy and fit our group exactly how we needed. Could not ask for anything better. The boys had a great time fishing and going out on the kayak and paddle board. We had a boat 2 days and after 1st attempt learned how to easily get in and out of the canal. The tiki hut and pool definately got used everyday. The crabs in the yard are fun to watch from the pool. We had an absolute blast.

Idyllic and peaceful spot in the Keys!

Manatee Cove made our 6th visit to the Keys absolutely incredible! This home was perfect for my family of five (hubby, myself, and 3 little girls), my in-laws and our standard poodle! Everything was incredibly clean, all the necessities were provided, and my children were in the pool every minute we were at the house! We loved the layout of this house: the in-laws were comfortable in the queen bed downstairs with the en suite and the rest of us took the 2nd floor bedrooms. The master is SO SPACIOUS! We went out for dinner a few evenings but the others we spent cooking and eating outside in the tiki hut and watching the pelicans go by. At night I loved looking at the stars from the balconies. This neighborhood is SO QUIET and peaceful! The hot tub at night with all the fun pool lights on was the perfect end cap to our days in the Keys!

Oasis

We enjoyed the beautiful Manatee Cove for a full week! Kathy is an exceptional property manager ensuring we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more! The pool, tiki hut and the amenities the house has to offer are stellar! Quick drive to other Keys and surrounded by some amazing restaurants! Hit up Keys Fisheries a hidden gem indeed! Sombrero beach was beautiful to see the sun rise and set. If you are lucky like we were an entire family of manatees came right up to the dock! Our family enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking up the canal! Stop by Crane Point for a fun filled day of beautiful sites and a fish pedicure!

Fun in paradise

Manatee Cove provided my family the opportunity to enjoy all the Florida Keys had to offer. The house is perfect for spending time outdoors, whether in the pool, sunning on the dock or exploring the canal on the paddleboard/kayak. Centrally located in Marathon, we were minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. The neighbors are wonderfully helpful and delightful to talk with. House was more than comfortable for our crew, but honestly we were outside or on the go almost the entire time! Thank you for the most helpful check in book, the information on must see places to eat and sightsee was invaluable. We will be back!!

Great family house!

We had 10 guests in our party and all slept comfortably at the house. I knew it was 2 stories but we didn't realize no access to downstairs. I am glad we didn't bring our elderly moms as the steps would have been rough. The only things I would say were missing for us were some pool toys for the kids. There was a beach ball there and they had snorkels we brought. It is a salt water pool which is common in the Keys and on cruises. By the end of the week we were wishing it was chlorine. The kitchen was well stocked although we would have liked a pizza cutter & round pizza pan but made due with what was available. There was a regular coffee maker and keurig. They had dish and hand soap supplied. Plenty of towels and great washer/dryer. Our family has a preference for smaller salad style forks so the pitch forks were our biggest complaint. We loved the Tiki and spent a good amount of time outdoors. We went on the Miss Islamorado to catch fish and came home catching almost as many off the dock. High tide was best time to fish! 3 of us took out the kayak and paddleboard twice. The bugs are bad and we brought 2 thermocells which I highly recommend as worked well when we remembered to turn them on! There are a lot of mosquitos and no see ums. I used essential oils so rarely got bit but several family members were eaten alive the couple nights we forgot to activate the thermocell unit. It was a great house and I preferred it to the condos we have stayed at in the past.

Lobster Season Done Right

This house is perfect for access to the Atlantic. Pool is refreshing at the end of the day. Stores and shops just minutes from property. Host very responsive and ready to help. House is a gem and very comfortable for multiple people and kids. No doubt would stay here again.

Property was great and owners were very helpful.

However the property manager Kathy was a little much for us. She showed up to our house and our friends house just a few houses down from us multiple times throughout our week stay. They have instructions for putting trash out and yet she would show up to take the trash down to the road well before the time on the instructions. She was also feeding a stray cat at the other property daily, at one time she was blocking the entrance into the property for a while why she fed this stray cat. She also contacted us about where we parked our trailers (empty lot at end of the road rented separately through property owner) and after a conversation with her on the phone about the trailers she then told us she had nothing to do with the lot which we knew. Not sure why she was talking to us about it if she had nothing to do with it. Again the house was great and the owners are too.
