Over all we had a wonderful stay. House was beautiful and very clean. Grounds were kept clean and pool was very nice. The only thing that that was frustrating was when having to shower there wasn’t enough hot water..

Perla Blanca is a beautiful modern home and looks exactly like the photos. The home and pool is perfect for large families but it never felt crowded. We were just blown away the entire time. You will occasionally hear airplanes from the airport but we enjoyed seeing them. The property manager - Monica - was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this place!

Beautiful Home and Outdoor Space

Family & I loved the home, loved the pool & spa, & outdoor kitchen. Home was very clean, very comfortable, well stocked, and has tons of natural light. There were cornhole boards that were a great surprise, basketball goal on the pool was a hit with the kids, and the kayaks were fun. Host is great with communicating and responding quickly. Marathon is a very nice place as well, but you do drive a little to get to shopping, dining, and Sombrero Beach.We would love to give overall 5 stars, however, the airport was much louder than we expected and takes away from the experience (especially if you want to be outside in the pool a lot as we were). Airport is very close (I knew from the map that it was), but during our stay, it was very loud, very often. EMS seemed to be running helicopter drills late into the night until 2am one morning keeping one kid awake. The earliest we heard a flight leave was 6:30am and 7am and that was only on a Monday, but flights did occur regularly throughout the day (some planes much louder than others) and typically through 11pm or midnight. It is a private airport as the listing/reviews mention, but busier than we expected. Maybe it was just an unusually busy flight week in Marathon... There are box fans provided in two closets, definitely recommend using those if you don't bring your own sound machines (we had two with us anyway for our small kids who always sleep with them). The fans were a huge help in blocking out the noise from the planes.

In a word… AMAZING!!

I would love to say awful just to keep others away, BUT, this home was simply amazing! Absolutely no complaints. There were 10 of us, 8 adults and 2 toddlers. We were impressed daily with this home. Top notch appliances, well stocked kitchen, beautiful bedrooms, plenty of space to spread out. The out side area was exceptional, perfect size pool and the outside kitchen was beautiful and immaculately clean. Check in was seamless. We needed a baby gate and they had one delivered to us within minutes. The house smelled amazing at check in and was extremely clean. We have stayed in many houses in Marathon over the years but this,by far, was the best!! 10 out of 10

Marathon Trip

We enjoyed our time at Perla Blanca. We loved watching the Olympics, hanging out at the pool and cooking in the big kitchen. The bedrooms were very large and comfortable. It was a good location to visit the local restaurants & attractions. It was a great house for our family of 6.

Beautiful!!!

My friends and I have been renting vacation homes for 25+ years and are extremely picky, but we were thoroughly impressed with this home. It is beautiful, modern, and VERY clean. We had absolutely everything we needed with the vast list of amenities. The pool was very clean and well maintained, the dock was just steps away from the pool which was very handy for accessing our boat, and the outdoor kitchen and bathroom were both SO nice to have. I could go on and on about how great everything was, including Monica who was great to work with and responded immediately to any questions that I had. As others have mentioned, there is occasionally some noise from the airport whenever a small plane takes off, but it’s brief and we enjoyed watching them…and kids would probably love watching them! Highly recommend!!!

Stylish, spacious and comfortable vacation home for a large group

From booking to check out, Monica was very helpful and provided excellent communication and service. She gave us great tips for renting beach gear and local caterers, as well as sending us info about special events in the area. The house was everything we expected for our group of 4 couples. The house has good separation of space, a bathroom for each bedroom, comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. There are three refrigerators and a wine fridge, as well as a huge ice maker in the outdoor kitchen. So many great amenities! The en suite baths are off the hook, with rain showers and bidets. We enjoyed mornings by the pool with coffee and evenings cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen. We saw a manatee and sea turtle from the private dock, and enjoyed paddling with the kayaks. The pool is really nice, larger than most that we saw. Our group doesn’t watch much television when we are all together, but there are tvs in every room and the outdoor kitchen. The only thing to mention, which really didn’t bother us, is that the airport is directly behind the neighborhood, so there is done noise from air traffic, but these seem to be small and private planes, so not huge commercial jets. The noise was not enough to disrupt our good time. Honestly, our group raved about this place and would love to return. Don’t hesitate to rent this place. You will not be disappointed.

Understocked and overcharged

This is nominally a house rental but it lacked even basic necessities for a family to stay in. For example, it did not have soap and shampoo for more than 1-2 days. The kitchen was woefully under equipped. It lacked salt and pepper. The coffee filters were the wrong size. We were there for a week and ran to the grocery store at least four times. The house is in a convenient location, however. And it is nicely built, it is new in condition. The host did respond to questions quickly, which we appreciated.

Wonderful experience

This house was perfect for us! It was impeccably clean and spacious. It is as luxurious as it looks in the photos. The property manager was quick to respond to our questions and provided assistance right away when needed. There were 6 adults in our group and we were all very comfortable in the 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs bedrooms, 2 bedrooms on main level - all with comfortable beds and ample closet space). The extra bathroom is in the pool house and is great for days spent outside while enjoying the pool/hot tub and the outdoor kitchen area. We loved being able to grill fresh seafood on the gas grill instead of going out to dinner. We would definitely return to this house! It was a wonderful experience!
