Beautiful skyline, best sunsets you’ll ever see. Room was nice, bed a little stiff but some people may enjoy that.

Nice, clean room with amazing views.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was as pictured, clean, perfect view of nightly sunsets, convenient location, and comfortable. Would recommend and would stay again.

Kitchen is clean if a bit dated but the bed was wonderful (if a bit high) and that's where we spend most of our time while in the unit. Overall a good stay.

Nice Place

The condo is very well maintained. Not a new condo at all but has been kept up well over the years. The one we stayed in was clean and nicely appointed, The kitchen could use some updating and a recliner chair would be a great addition. All of the items in the outside storage, chairs, umbrellas and pop-up tents were must, moldy and unusable. Overall, a good stay and a good value compared to some other properties we looked at. We would return and hope for some updated amenities and maintained and clean items in the outside storage.

Great Location

Great location on Marco Island. The staff were wonderful and the building is very secure. Easy check in. Felt very safe. The condo was ok. Needs some TLC. The stove and range hood are not in the best shape. Need replaced. Doors and walls nicked up need cleaned and painted. Outside balcony has old covering on the floor which needs replaced.

Beware of VBRO

Property listed online was deceptive. Bedroom and especially bed sub-par. Kitchen was outdated with old pans, a half old a sponge, watered down hand soap, dishes did not fit in dishwasher, which is so old, chipped paint in kitchen, 1 ratty dish towel, 2 beach towels only- I was assured there were at least 4, broken umbrella The guest book chronically repeated the same things wrong but owners apparently don’t care. Don’t book on 5th floor at the Apollo. You will be very disappointed

Week Stay at the Apollo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo location is really great. We didn't like having to stop by a different location to get keys and return them to that location. We didn't rent a car so this was not convenient having to make these stops. Why not organize pick up and drop off at the concierge desk at the condo unit? Would be so practical. The condo itself lacked a few basic kitchen necessities. They had no bowls for making salads. ONE stem wine glass. Blender was dirty. A drain board would be helpful for dishes in the sink. Also the bed height is ridiculous. Thankfully we are mobile and active, but if anyone had a mobility issue, they wouldn't be able to get on this bed. On a side note: there are a lot of negative guest responses in the guestbook in the condo. The owners should take note of those comments. The gym is nothing to advertise. Very mediocre. The pool is average and clean. You can easily access the beach and the condo comes with a closet of beach chairs/umbrella which was nice. The beach is fantastic and if you love shelling....this is the place. Location to a grocery store is a drive. There are really good restaurants within walking distance all in a lively open courtyard. We enjoyed walking there and trying the restaurants. There is a restaurant at the condo but only ate their once as it was bar food. We used Uber for transportation and it was readily available and convenient. Overall a great stay.

We’ve stayed at the Apollo before and we enjoy the great location, friendly staff, and convenience to get to the beach. The rental company did warn us in advance of maintenance going on at the building and sent us video and audio of the noise, which was helpful. The building was being painted and all walkways were being sanded and the rental company did a great job of communicating that ahead of time. The property was clean and just right for our needs. I would stay there again. I did make a few suggestions that would make the property even better, such as a new tv in the bedroom and adding a couple firmer pillows, but nothing major.

A million dollar view but a very outdated kitchen

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view but needs some help. The kitchen is the deal breaker, especially at this price point. A hood from the 70’s that doesn’t work and way past due for upgrade. Paint touch ups needed and maybe a mattress that actually fits the frame. Bathroom and furniture are newer. Pool was enjoyed when it wasn’t full of screaming children which was a rarity. Waking up to high speed sanders right outside the window...not cool. Walking out into a mist of sanded paint dust...and I paid a ridiculous amount for this experience. The paperwork rivals signing for a mortgage and daily texts were annoying. We enjoyed the island and view but would pass on another stay.

We love the Island and plan, when it is possible, a vacation stay of at least 10 days per year. With MI Vacation Properties we are partners since 2015, I guess. We had a great time again in the Apollo condo. This time was our second stay in the 502 unit.
