Quick getaway

We decided on very short notice to head to Florida for a 2 week winter getaway. Luckily this brand new property listing popped up and we were able to book it. Really great house and the owners provided lots of extras to make our stay comfortable. Good location near racquet club, farmers market, beaches and restaurants. Loved our stay!

Fun in Marco

House was great and perfect for our family of 5! Loved the bikes they had on loan, we used them on the bike path conveniently located right behind the house and to ride to the beach as well! House was stocked with everything you needed for a relaxing week on Marco!

Beautiful home

This home is beautiful, brand new, and exactly as pictured. It’s close to everything on Marco. We really enjoyed our time there. You do have to pick up and drop off keys to the rental company, which is a few minute drive. They also only give you 1 trash bag, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, and one roll paper towels. Everything else is stocked as far as the kitchen and house go. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Beautiful house. Very clean.

This is a beautiful home. It is very clean and has a good supply of kitchen/bathroom essentials. The only downside was the pool instructions were hard to follow and pool maintenance showed up while we were in the pool and told us if they cleaned it wed have to be out of the water for several hours. Thought the communication about that should have been better. Management responded quickly to things and were easy to work with. We will definitely recommend this property to others.

From the seamless check in process to the beautiful open floor plan, we were extremely happy with the choice we made to stay at 117 Heathwood!! Pool and Hot tub worked without any issues. Master bed and shower are amazing! Location is just perfect. Beach cruisers, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. They thought of it all! I can’t say enough about how much my family enjoyed this home and our week long visit to Marco Island!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose to engage/rent from a local realtor who not only knew the area but was present and available to help with any unforeseen issues. This was a key buyer value of ours vs getting bogged down in IVR calling systems to reach an agent at the usual online renting sites. Check in was pleasant with a real person, an appropriate amount of contacts were conducted during our stay and when we had a small issue with the pool, they had the pool service guy there in less than an hour. Overall, an extremely positive experience. The cloudless sky for 3 weeks wasn’t bad either!

It was beautiful, brand new, extremely clean and well appointed. It had everything we could have possibly needed and all we had to buy was some dish soap/sponge to wash dishes and some toilet paper and paper towels. When we arrived the pool was 100 degrees and too hot to swim but when we called the rental agency in the morning, someone came over within an hour and fixed it. We had no other issues and loved swimming in the pool and the location was excellent. We had more than enough space for our family of 4 and the master suite was gorgeous!

Its proximity to the beach is a key buyer value for us and this house comes with great bikes! Parking at Marco beach is impossible so this fit the bill nicely. Upgraded hot tub controls were installed and the MBR and bath are roomy. Only negative is the house backs up to tennis courts and you hear that pretty clearly while using the pool. Overall, it’s a great house that more than met our needs. Harborview provided EXCELLENT service when we called about a few items. Responsive and professional!

Nice, spacious house with central location

This floor plan seems popular on Marco as we have rented a past VRBO with the same layout. The house is new and modern. The location is good, center of the island. It was nice to have a garage to park the car out of the sun.The kids loved the pool, however despite trying many attempts to follow the directions the hot tub never got hot which was disappointing. The kids had sand dollars laid out on the pool deck after a shelling trip. We came back to find about 1/2 of them broken. We can only imagine the pool company came in while we were out and stepped on them by mistake? Probably a honest mistake but the kids were sad. The chair cushions in the pool area need to be cleaned or replaced. They were very dirty and stained. Also the description states you will be supplied with an initial supply of trash bags and toilet paper. We had to make an extra trip on the first day after noticing there were no trash bags for the kitchen. We also had to make a trip during the week as there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in each of the 2 bathrooms... just things to consider. Not deal breakers but seems attention to detail could be better. There is a nice paved walking trail behind the house. We were surprised at first when the locals cut through the bushes at the back of the house/ pool to access the trail. Not a big deal once we knew this was the case.We were pleased to be able to purchase a late check out on our last day.

This house is in a great location. It has everything you will need & is new. It has a pool heater and spa & backs up to a waking trail. Will definitely stay here again!!

Green pool

We arrived to find the pool green, when I called the management office to communicate the condition of the pool the person in the office by the name of Pam, responded with, ‘are you sure? I was just there, and it looked perfect.’ Well, it took me sending various photos to give her perspective on the condition of the pool. This was on Saturday, prior to the 4th of July. We were supposed to check in on Friday and were unable to do so. So not to bore you, we got to use the pool on Tuesday, 5 days later, terrible for teenagers who were hoping to enjoy the pool. Thanks to a concerned person by the name of Phil, the pool guy, who came two times to take care of the situation. However, in order to clean the pool, he had to shock the water, meaning, we were not able to use it. To our surprise, there were no apologies. We rented a house with a pool and got a green pool. Do yourself a favor, rent from other management companies in Marco. There are many others. As you can see, I have given them two weeks to reach out and extend a discount or even an apology and none has been given. The home is okay, many others are better.
