Avoid this rental at all costs! The house is poorly maintained, and the host did not provide any actions to fix any of our daily issues, leading to one of the worst vacations for me and my family. We encountered both dead and live cockroaches, a malfunctioning pool filter that left the pool bug-infested and disgusting, and no Internet or cable TV for five out of the seven days due to internal equipment problems in the house (despite the host insisting it was an area outage, which it was not). I had to personally deal with the cable provider to fix the in-house wiring and equipment issues (several hours of my time). On the third day, the AC failed due to lack of maintenance, making the house unbearably hot at 85 degrees, which was unsafe for our infant. I had to coordinate with a maintenance company and the HVAC vendor, staying up until midnight to get the issue resolved (another few hours of my time). Ceiling Fans in two rooms, and outside fan not working, fan remotes and TV remotes not working. I spent countless hours dealing with maintenance activities just to make the house somewhat livable. Keep in mind, sleeps 11, but pool can only accommodate two chairs. The homeowner refused to refund any money despite these issues. There are many other rentals in the Marco/Naples area; do not rent this one. Previous renters had similar concerns.

Great Family Place

The house was great. Great open concept living area for all our kids. The gas range in the kitchen and the gas grill outside on the back porch were awesome as we did a lot of cooking. The back porch is, of course, enclosed just like the pool. And when we were not on our boat, we were in the pool or on the porch. The host and property management folks were very responsive, even letting us know about inclement weather. We rented a pontoon boat and so having the dock was great, too. In late July, this is a VERY quiet neighborhood.

4th of July Weekend Getaway!

Our stay at the beautiful waterfront property in Marco Island was a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. The serene neighborhood, paired with the enclosed patio/ pool area, added to the charm of the setting. The home's beauty and spaciousness created a perfect retreat for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Beautiful and relaxing Marco Island home!

Our family of 6 had a great time at this property during the Memorial weekend. The house is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. The host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend it. We plan to come back.

Spring Break

We truly enjoyed our stay here! It was home away from home for us. We don't eat out and the amazing kitchen is equipped with all of the gadgets a cook could need, so that is a major plus for us! The house was very spacious and everyone had their own bathroom, which is a luxury in my eyes. We took advantage of all the house had to offer! We rented kyaks and put them in right of the dock, we rode bikes to the beach, we watched March Madness as we relaxed in the beautiful outdoor living space, and we saw stingrays swimming around while fishing off the dock. It was such an amazing and relaxing spring break for us! We definitely would stay here again and Kate, the host, was amazing as well. We give this place 5 stars!!

Spring Break

This was spring break for our 7 year old and we decided to try Marco Island, for a change. Was absolutely fantastic. The house was immaculate and has everything you could ever need. Full sets of cookware, plates, cups, everything. And very nice stuff. The house was very nicely decorated and the outside living room with the fireplace, TV, grill and dining room table was perfect for a family of 4. The kids could not stay out of the pool, and it was heated, so it was nice for the adults, too! Bathrooms were large and updated. Our house manager was absolutely fantastic. She responded quickly on anything I messaged her about. The only issue we ahd while were there was the smoke detector in the master bedroom started beeping every 30 seconds. I let Katie know and she had Patrick from the management company out there within an hour and he fixed it in 5 seconds. The ceilins are high and vaulted, so it took longer to get the ladder out than it did to reset the detector. We went to my Father's house in Naples (which is very nice and has a pool), and my youngest kept saying that she wanted to "go home". This did not mean back to Baltimore, this meant she wanted to go back to "our house" in Marco Island. Oh, and there is lots of toys and things for kids at the house! And also 4 bikes and one electric bike. All in all, this was probably the best stay we have had in any VRBO we have stayed. Very centrally located and very easy to get around (Publix and Walgreen's right down the road).

Great experience

I have easily stayed at over 15 homes through vrbo. This one stands out bc many homes feel sterile and only supply the basic essentials which are usually cheap and worn out. This was like staying in a real home. The way it was decorated felt warm and inviting not cold and sterile. The things in the kitchen from glassware to flatware to cooking utensils was very well done. Coffee soap towels etc. were in great supply. The beds and pillows were among the most comfortable of any home I’ve rented. The pool was pre heated upon arrival. While we did not use the bikes and beach stuff bc we were fishing and golfing I did notice everything seemed to be of very high quality. Kate responded within a couple minutes to every question I had prior to arrival and also to the only question I had after arrival. In short, I highly recommend the property and will try to stay here again on my next trip. Thanks for everything Kate.

Amazing home in beautiful neighborhood

This home has it all. The beds are so comfortable. The house is fully stocked with everything you could want for cooking meals, going to the beach, fishing, bike riding etc. the pools is fun for sunbathing. The house sits at the of a canal where you can enjoy the water and watch the tides and the wildlife come and go. We will definitely return!
