“This property is located in a beautiful quiet serene location where you hear the birds and nature right outside your door. It's a very calming place close to town but feels miles away. There is a nice pub/restaurant within easy walking distance. The check in was super easy and I would definitely stay there again. ”

“This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”

“Basic accomodation but good value, close to town, comfortable and clean. I had breakfast and dinner in Settlers restaurant and it was very good. Wayne the manager is a gentleman and very helpful. No complaints, I would stay here again.”

It is pet friendly, there were other people in campers and RVs who had dogs with them. The owners also had a friendly little fur baby who was one of the highlights of our interactions with them.
