Location:
Private home located on the banks of the French Broad River. You are approximately 7 minutes to downtown Marshall and 15-20 minutes to Weaverville or Mars Hill. You are also approximately 35 minutes from downtown Asheville, 45 minutes to the Biltmore Estate, & less than 1 hour to the Asheville Regional Airport. The home is easily accessed via paved and fully maintained roads, right up to the private parking area. 4-wheel drive is NOT required, and the property can be easily accessed by any car, motorcycle, truck, or RV. The French Broad Cabin is conveniently located right on Little Pine Rd for easy access, and the fire pit is directly across the road from the house on the French Broad River and firewood is provided.

The chalet affords year-round access, and 4-seasons of enjoyment of the French Broad River and all of WNC. The chalet is situated on 6+ acres just outside of Marshall, NC, affording privacy for everyone to relax & enjoy the feel of the WNC mountains. French Broad Chalet is located on the French Broad River, surrounded by a diverse hardwood forest.

While at the newly built French Broad Chalet, everyone enjoys all that it has to offer, including the spectacular front porch, where you can pull up a rocking chair and take in the "sound of rushing water" and observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard. Big Pine Creek is the next major creek river left downstream from Little Pine Creek. Big Laurel is the third major creek river right downstream from Little Pine Creek.

Other seasonal activities nearby include motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, fishing, falconry and clay pigeon shooting, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, horseback riding & ATV (handicap friendly)…just about any outdoor activity! Our Cleaning Fees are backed by our Clean Guarantee, which reflects the highest level of standards, pristine environments for our guests, and a level of cleanness that surpasses any other vacation home; we literally guarantee it! Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Weddings/Events: Small weddings/events are allowed at this property for up to 30 guests**. There would be an additional fee for this that would be determined based on the number of guests that you anticipate hosting. The Event Fee is in addition to normal rental fees.
