Chalets en Maryport

“Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. “I've stayed at the Trout a number of times, it is a pretty, well maintained hotel with lots of character and ideally placed to explore Cockermouth, the Western Lakes and the national park. The food is good and the staff are professional and very friendly.”

“Pretty average”

“Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Property is in need of some TLC, and could be an excellent venue. Gardens in need of de-weeding and some cutting back on trees, brambles etc.”

“We have stayed here three times now & love the friendly homely atmosphere. The apartment is perfect for me & my son and he loves the swimming pool! The gym has plenty of equipment & my treadmill faces a field of cows & the odd pig which was lovely! Will definitely be staying again”

“Todo bien”

“My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age.”

“Lovely breakfast and super hospitality!”

“Perfect! Amazing view from the room ! Al clean and really confortable! ”
