It’s so beautiful. The design is very chic and unique. It highlights the natural beauty of the cave and also makes it so comfortable and contemporary. The breakfast is amazing. Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve visited.

I am providing 5 stars because 6/7 stars is not available. Absolutely wonderful!! Room was well appointed, modern with very comfortable bed. The breakfast was the most delicious and plentiful we ever had in all our travels to Italy. Victor was a wonderful host, taking time to provide us with a suggested walking tour. Fantastic stay!!

La particolarità di dormire all' interno di una grotta nei sassi di matera senza rinunciare ai comfort di una struttura luxury. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Personale della struttura professionale e gentile...consigliatissimo!

Our stay here was like staying at a boutique hotel. It was so unique and felt completely private. Great in-room amenities and great bed and bedding. The location is great, but as we did you will probably need a taxi from the train station. If you can arrive at Matera Sud, it would be more convenient. Victor from the hotel arranged a taxi for us upon arrival which worked out great. This place offers great customer service and a fabulous breakfast. Can’t recommend it enough.

I must say, I was not sure what the property would be like from online, however from the very first communication..to the check-in all the way to check out I was blown away. Victor at the reception was first class, kind, professional and extremely helpful. He really set the mood and made the experience what it was! For every concern we had, Victor was available and he was so quick to offer solutions to our needs. If you want to be treated like a VIP this is the place to go! I must also say the breakfast was very delicious and was nicely presented!

The property is well placed to explore Matera. Viktor, the manager, made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. He took some time with us to explain many of the places to visit during our short stay and this very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding and a great start to each day, especially when we were able to eat 'al fresco' on the terrace outside reception. Viktor was available throughout our stay to offer any help or advice we required.

Tolles, kleines in den Fels gebaute Hotel
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Conche Luxury Retreat. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen gute Tipps und Ideen für die Besichtigung des einzigartigen Matera. Unser Zimmer (in den Fels gebaut) war sehr ansprechend gestaltet, gut ausgeleuchtet, verfügte über alle nötigen Annehmlichkeiten (inkl. Nespresso-Maschine), ein bequemes Bett und ein grosses Sofa. Vor dem Zimmer gab es auch Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und in der Nähe gibt es gute und ansprechende Restaurants. Das vom Hotel empfohlene Parkhaus ist modern und zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Auch vielen Dank für den Tipp, wo man in Bari sicher parken kann. Gerne kommen wir wieder einmal und empfehlen das Hotel weiter!

Modernized cave rooms on a delightful street surrounded by historical buildings. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Nice restaurants nearby. Parking is challenging.

The hotel was in old Matera and the rooms were caves that were renovated. The room was beautiful and had a lot of mood lighting!

Exactly what I expected. The Property is a very nice 4 bedroom Hotel. Excelent Experience. The room was exacly as the Pictures which is very difficult to find. I highly recomend it for an experience in Matera.
