“We were able to spend an amazing week with my children and grandchildren. Weather was beautiful, spent everyday at the beech and the pool. Laughs, good food, great views, wonderful home and Awsome experience. Highly recommend and we will look to stay at this home ago. Thank you ”

Great location on a quiet section of beach, loved the beach toy box, 3 levels of decks, and heated outdoor shower.I was a little worried about sound due to it being a duplex but honestly never heard anything from the other side all week.One suggestion for improvement would be to add blackout courtains at least to a few of the bedrooms. All the rooms have basic blinds but the rooms get pretty light as soon as the sun comes up, would be nice to be able to sleep in...

“We had such an amazing stay! The house had everything we needed and more. We loved spending evenings on the porch playing games, sharing meals, and watching all the boats go by from the dock and porch. The kayaks were perfect for little adventures, exploring nearby islands, and discovering the sand hills—our kids especially loved running up and down them! Morning coffee at the coffee bar was such a treat (K-Cups or ground), and we made great use of the grill and outdoor shower after our days...

“This place is amazing! The house is spacious and well appointed, the huge back deck was wonderful to sit and take in the view. The beach is a 2 min stroll through the dunes, so fun, then you emerge onto the expanse of sand that is the beach (HUGE) which we had essentially entirely to ourselves. It was just a couple of nights but it felt longer, we were able to really relax and leave it all behind. We are already planing to come back in the Summer for a full week. Such a great vibe!”

“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“This house was perfect for our family and accompanied our two flats boats easily. Parking was a bit tricky while we got unpacked, etc but the owner of the restaurant next door was very pleasant to work with. This was only a concern while we had our boats on trailers, etc. Host was a pleasure to work with!! ”

The upstairs fridge was having a hard time making enough ice, but we bought extra. The one negative comment is for the outdoor grill, it was disgusting. Spent an hour scraping oyster shells and an inch layer of grease and other gunk off the bottom pan and grill racks. It took everyone awhile to get used to all the rooms, and we couldn't...
