The apartment was overall decent, but there were several issues that impacted our stay. One of the bedrooms had dirty bed linens, with visible stains on the comforter (possibly makeup or something similar). Additionally, there were no towels or washcloths provided; we had to go downstairs to the office to request those, along with toilet tissue. The apartment had not been properly restocked after the previous guests, as several necessities were missing. While using the kitchen, we noticed a couple of pests, which suggests the unit may need treatment for roaches. Lastly, the parking situation was not clearly communicated. We received a parking ticket for parking on the side of the building. There was no clear indication that it was a no-parking zone, and we believed we were parked appropriately. There was no message about parking garages or meters in the posting on Vrbo. Overall, the stay was okay, but these issues should be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

We decided to stay here due to the proximity to the venue for our daughter’s southeastern regional high school choral ensemble. The location is spectacular! We walked everywhere: Beale Street, down to the River and everywhere in between. There are parking garages nearby and metered street parking. The office personnel and staff are very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was nice and roomy. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again when traveling to Memphis! It would have been a little less worrisome to have received our arrival instructions the day prior but communication with the host was great. We felt safe and welcome. There is a strong odor in the lobby area, not quite sure what it was from, but the apartment did not have that smell. So much natural light coming through the large windows. It is a very old building so take that into consideration. Several window ac units throughout and all worked well. There are also space heaters. We did not need them as the weather was on the warmer side for our stay but it appears they are the kind that shut off when tipped over. Basic kitchen dishes, pots, pans, and silverware provided. It was nice to cook a few meals while we stayed. Thank you!

This ad is completely false information. Felt very unsafe the door lock didn’t lock. There were bugs everywhere in the room and building. The photos are completely inaccurate. I asked for a refund after only staying long enough to find somewhere else to take my family. The host refused any type of refund just to look at a different apartment in the same building.

Overall the property was nice for a one night stay. However, I would not personally stay here again due to the location. The location had very limited parking unless you wanted to stay in a very pricey parking garage and there was a ton of construction going on near the building and on the building. The room itself wasn’t bad but could have used a lot of updates to make it a bit more comfortable and safer. Overall, it isn’t bad for a one night stay but if you can stay out of downtown I would highly recommend it.

They had bugs in the tub when we arrived the a/c unit kept going off and on the whole apartment didn’t get cool. I was with a baby that is two years old so we didn’t even sleep there Saturday night it was to hot i checked out early which around 7pm Saturday and went and check in a hotel.

Most inaccurate Vrbo listing

Lobby very dirty and smelly with sketchy looking people inside and outside. Did not feel safe. Unit smelled like smoke and was dirty. Dirty second hand furniture. Refrigerator made loud rattling sounds. Big hole in wall behind door. Did not look AT ALL like Vrbo photos. We ended up not staying here.

Terrible communication and inaccurate listing

The owner didn't send me the check in information until less than an hour before the scheduled check in time. The property doesn't actually have a gym - it's a couple of blocks away - and the secured parking is extra payment.

Loved location and such a cute apartment

It was clean and tidy and had all we needed. Only issues was a lot of the electrical plugs weren’t working to charge any devices and were loose. Highly recommend otherwise. Easy walk to everything we wanted to see and felt safe

Horrible Host!!!

I contacted the host about accessing the rental on the day that I was supposed to check in. I was informed that the rental was not available. I asked when did they plan to inform me, because I’m on the road heading there. The host did offer a one bedroom but instead canceled the reservation because the host stated that they didn’t like my tone because I asked about being notified. Bad customer service!!!

Be Camera Ready!!!!

From the pictures this place looks as described cozy, modern high-rise in downtown Memphis. And maybe it was at some point. However, currently it is rundown with a roach infestation. 2 out the of the three elevators weren’t even in service. Honestly I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing considering we were not refunded and opted to stay elsewhere.
