Very quiet. The deposit/ extra fee on checkout at rental were annoying. Maybe put that up front somewhere. ”

“UPON ARRIVAL YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. SO I TURNED AROUND AND LEFT. BACKED TRACKED AND LOOKED ELSEWHERE. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF GOING DOWN OTHER ROADS, I WENT BACK AND WENT BACK TO PRIVATE RD AND WENT PASSED SIGN. THEN I SEEN ANOTHER SIGN WITH THE ADDRESS AND IT WAS NOT VERY BIG. COULD NOT SEE IT FROM THE SIGN THAT SAID PRIVATE. NORMALY WHEN YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. YOU DON'T GO PAST IT. I SUGGEST A SIGN THAT SAYS HICKORY HIDEOUT.”

“This place is incredible. We loved the views and the peacefulness. Definitely recommend. We celebrated our 23 anniversary and had the best time. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Also great DVD collection. Wish there was more creek access or maybe kayaks available. But very nice stay. ”
