The house was large enough to accommodate seven people, but it was not stocked or equipped for that number. There were only two somewhat usable dining room chairs, despite the listing photos showing more. The kitchen was inadequately supplied, with only five forks, three spoons, and four coffee mugs, making it unsuitable for a rental intended for a large group.Basic necessities were also missing. There was no plunger, and we had to call to request one. There were no bath mats on an extremely slippery bathroom floor; I actually fell while getting out of the shower.The stay also began with poor communication. We did not receive access information until one hour before check-in. I spent over an hour on the phone with Vrbo because the host sent a link requiring an additional contract signature, but the link was broken. Once Vrbo contacted the host, we were shown an incorrect contract, which I signed under pressure just to gain access to the property.Noise was another issue. Neighbors played loud music throughout the night. Although somewhat muffled, it was still clearly audible inside the house.Most concerning, this is not a private single-family home as advertised. There is another apartment attached to the property, separated only by a wall with a hole covered by a vent. We could clearly hear a baby crying and normal conversations from the neighboring unit.
