Las habitaciones descuidadas. Las camas incomodas y parecía no haber cambiado las sabanas. La zona donde está el hotel peligrosa con muchos indigentes. En el estacionamiento personas orinando en público.

If you have a variety of interests in Downtown Miami, this is the place for you. If you want to have an immersion in the afroamerican history and culture, this is the place for you (I even stayed in a room with no number called Josephine Baker). If you are a basketball fan this place is walking distance from the Arena. If you practice running and you are coming for the main event in Miami - as my case was - staying here is the guarantee that you will not be spending a lot in transportation: you can be in the start line in no time. To conclude: this is a very versatile property, by the legendary 8th Street.

Muy sucio el cuarto no ha en la limpieza llegando el WC están lleno de popó luego se ve que las sábanas no las cambian e tre huésped y huésped los colchones de las camas viejos y horribles la regadera se sale todo el agua la piso no hay nadie pendiente muy sucio no limpian , no barren no trapean el piso, los baños no los limpian ESPANTOSO!

Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us to let us know your concerns. We absolutely clean our rooms and sheets between guest. The Dunns-Josephine housekeeping staff takes pride in their cleaning and if there is any issue with a room we are always happy to address it immediately and move you to a room that is comfortable. Additionally, we purchased all new bed and bedding this year! This is a surprise. Please call us at your earliest convenience to discuss the issue. further. I do not see your name in our reservation system at all...

Never could be at th hotel. I had a reservation and at the moment of check in they told that the hotel was full. Really desapointed.

Hello Pedro, I am sorry that you were not able to stay with us. As with most hotels in the world, our policy with Expedia has always been to let us know if you are arriving after midnight... You arrived close to 2 am . By then we consider the booking a no-show and allow the room to be re-rented. Fridays and Saturdays are pretty busy in Miami! La atención del personal es muy buena, son amables y atentos. No me gusto que no había toallas en la habitación, la puerta de baño no servia, el desayuno muy malo. La calle muy sola,sucia, oscura e insegura

Hi Hilda, Thank you for staying with us at the Dunns-Josephine Hotel. We are surprised that you would say that the area was unsafe. You came to check in at 9:45 am and rather than pay the early check-in fee you walked around the community with all your bags for 5 hours. Additionally upon check out, you asked if you could leave your bags with us and did not return to the hotel to almost 6 pm that day. You stored your bags in our open breeze way and all your bags were found intact and safe upon your return. Downtown Miami is ranked safer than many other downtowns in the country. Again, thanks you for your stay with us. The staff at Six Acres!

The staff was great and friendly. Loved that we were able to check in early for a fee. The floors were dirty, I normally like to take off my shoes when I go into the rooms. I had to wear my sandals when getting off the bed. Walls are thin, could hear other tenants use their TVs late at night.

Happily stumbled upon this unique and historic hotel. First time in Miami and I am so pleased I found a spot rich in history and culture. The owner was working the front desk and told us about other properties she owns and her future plans for the hotel. She has a fantastic vision for the future while remembering the past. Do not pass it up.

Had everything we needed and couldn’t have been happier with the experience! Tyler was awesome and helped us whenever we needed something and was there to let us in when we came back to the hotel after a night out in Miami. It isn’t the fanciest but works great if you’re looking for something a little more budget friendly. Publix is walking distance from the hotel which was very convenient for us too. We will be back!

This was a fantastic find. Not only was it comfortable and convenient to stay at…the staff was ultra friendly and helpful, parking is included, there are several restaurants that are open until 10pm within walking distance, the breakfast is a continental one (which is all anyone needs to start the day with) AND it has a beautiful backyard that you can simply “chill” in to relax. A green escape from the concrete jungle. We will definitely be staying here again!!!!

Het is een goeie uitvalbasis om Miami te verkennen. Het hotelpersoneel is ook zeer vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Je kan uw wagen ook gratis parkeren op de parkeerplaatsen naast het hotel. Het eige nadeel van het hotel is het ontbijt. Dit is eigenlijk geen ontbijt, maar gwn een donut, wat yoghurt en koffie uit een wegwerp beker. Voor de rest geen klachten van het hotel. Alles was ook proper en net

We did not like it. We had another reservation, but for some reson it got cancelled, and they moved us to this hotel. The room we had, need an upgrade. The breakfast was really bad. Just boilled egg, coffe, apple and cereal in a bag. No bread. The staff was ok. One actually tried to give us his own bread for breakfast. We did not feel safe outside the hotel, but it was just a feeling. Never going back.
