Property was rented in December for a week for family. There was ample sleeping and “hanging out” space for the number of family members. There was sufficient linen for family; however, towels were kid size and paper thin. Not an issue, we just bought and laundered towels to use. The property is situated very close to the Interstate and between Aventura Mall and 441 with a shopping plaza within walking distance. Grocery stores and restaurants are within short driving distance. Owner (or individual managing property) was very responsive via app to issues that arose during our stay, which was appreciated as this was a stressful time for family in town for funeral.The property was mostly clean, some areas could have used more attention to details including appliances frequently used (mold in compartments) and smelly garbage that was in the bins to left of home upon our arrival that had somehow missed pickup day. The property could use some upgrading but perhaps that lends some charm to the “haunted” theme. To name a few: plumbing issues when showering, toilet that flushes and literally sprays water, and electric sockets that are loose and outdated or hidden behind furniture and not accessible. The latter is why this property received 4 vs 5 stars. With upgrades, it would be well worth the stay if ever in South Florida again.
