I reserved the most expensive room in the hotel, and the experience was far below expectations.
The pool is not heated, so it was not usable. The terrace of the room was dirty, to the point that it was not possible to walk barefoot. Additionally, both doors leading to the terrace did not close properly, which created a significant sense of insecurity.
Furthermore, when settling charges at the hotel, I was informed that only credit cards were accepted, with no option to pay in cash. This condition was not disclosed in advance through any channel.
I also had Amazon packages delivered prior to my arrival — something I have been doing for over 5 years as a frequent guest — and I was informed that there is now a charge for this service. This was not indicated on the hotel’s website or on Expedia. Moreover, I received a call in my room almost demanding that I come downstairs immediately to pay for the packages, when this could have easily been handled at check-out.
I am very dissatisfied with the current standard of this hotel. In previous years, none of these issues occurred.
