“This is a beautiful hotel and in a great location BUT it is old and in serious need of updates. It is apparent that little to no improvements have been made since the place was built: walls, floors, furniture, structural, everything needs updating. There are no elevators. My room was on the third floor so I had to take the stairs each time. The carpet on the floors was dirty--I would understand better if this was a high traffic hotel, it is not. I literally had to fight/push my door open and...

“The place was a beautiful Victorian home. Well decorated and comfortable warm and friendly. Our host was amazing. Eric prepared the most beautiful breakfast in the morning far beyond continental style. You cannot beat his omelette or his pancakes. The home is located in an excellent spot. The host was very personable and accommodating. The coffee was ready throughout the day nonstop. And the hot water for tea. highly recommend staying there a wonderful getaway.”
