“**Disappointing anniversary stay** We booked Lanelay Hall over three months in advance for a special anniversary and were looking forward to the luxury boutique experience advertised. We had hoped that booking so far ahead would allow us to be allocated one of the more desirable rooms. Unfortunately, we were allocated Clock Tower 1, an accessible Deluxe Room. “The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.”

“What a stunning property. A beautiful, loved home with such small intricate thoughts to make your stay stress free. Simple things like cleaning materials, hand-wash, extra towels, throws, board games and books....... I know they sound simple things, but a lot of properties miss these things out. Our host was attentive and available if we needed and he made the process so easy. It was great for our dog, with 2 parks within 100m of the property. I would highly recommend this quiet retreat if...

“Das Appartement war leider doppelt gebucht. Die Vermieterin hat uns daher eine andere Unterkunft im gleichen Ort zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese war neu und noch gar nicht vermietet gewesen. Sie war wesentlich größer als das ursprüngliche Appartement und wir haben sie zum gleichen Preis erhalten. So haben wir ein Gratis-Upgrade erhalten. Zum Appartement kann ich daher kein Feedback geben.”
