“Fantastic little get away. The bar and restaurant were top notch meals were first class, staff are friendly, very comfortable sitting infront of the fireplace with a beverage soaking up the character. The rooms were well appointed and the continental breakfast was a welcome addition. Would definitely stay again.”

“Amazing!! French style, beautifully decorated, attention to detail. Everything thoughtfully considered and executed. A lucky find . ”

“The staff are kind, welcoming and everything you'd hope for when travelling to such a destination. I came here for a recharge, and achieved it Leah, and team were exceptional, I hope your next adventures are as good as mine.”

“Ich habe selten in so einem einzigartigen und coolen Zimmer geschlafen, es war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich, wirklich toll. Ich hatte sogar eine kleine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer und Milch im Kühlschrank. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert.”

“Beautiful view in a very large old cottage. Lots of rooms with two bathrooms & comfortable beds & warm heating”

“Great cabin, fantastic food and the most helpful team possible. So much so, we are planning to return next year for a longer stay and even do the Overland track. Thank you Michael and Alex- it was a joy to meet you ⭐️”

“Spent one night, property was very nice. Only one problem was the light shining through the glass window above door. Needs to be blacked out.”

“The cottage was quit and small but had everything we needed for the stay. The rooms were clean and the heating was good for a cool winters night.”

“We had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and homely.thee was a nice common area for relaxing and a common area kitchenette for tea, coffee and breakfast use. We stayed on a Sunday night so the hotel wasn’t open for breakfast or dinner, but that was okay for our stay. We would stay here again.”

“Lovely peaceful place to visit”

“The breakfast that was included was a good smorgasbord spread . But dinner menu was quite expensive for food that the average person would not eat and not very extensive.”

“La cabaña tiene todo, está limpia y muy cómoda, es amplia y está cerca del acceso al parque. Lo único es que todavía están desarrollando el lugar o por lo menos eso parece”

“Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park.”

“Quick check in, friendly staff, room was ready, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and just a 5 minute walk to the main street and shops.”

“for a 3 night stay I would have preferred a second set of towels”

“I liked the old world charm, the food and the breakfast provided but not the back entrance over the roof with luggage!”
