“This property was amazing. The views were spectacular. The kitchen had a good few staples but the coffee machine was a welcome bonus. The only thing I could find fault with was, there weren't enough hooks for coats near the front door. But please choose this place to stay in Strahan ”

“Very nice studio room - had everything one could need in a compact and comfortable space. Very nice water view and walkable for persons with reasonable ability/fitness. Otherwise very short drive to any part of Strahan. Host was very prompt in communication. Check-in and out was all incredibly easy. Be aware that studio is a carport away from multi bed cottage, and any movement of that guest’s vehicle is very noticeable. ”

“This was my second visit to Strahan. It’s easy to forget how these towns in the west of the state shut down in winter. The hotel has two restaurants and the pub. Both restaurants were closed and there was no suggestion of room service. The only appliance in the room was an electric jug, which meant that, if you want breakfast you have to eat at the bistro. Prices in the bistro are very high, so any meal for two there would cost at least $100.00. On our first day we decided to have brunch in the...
