“If you have to stay in this area, you have very few choices, and this place is tolerable. The one bed we used was comfortable enough, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and laundry facilities inside the unit. It was also nice to see the platypus and kangaroos/wallabies at the nearby pond. However, in other ways this was The House of No. No reply to our emailed questions two days in advance. No notice that the only restaurant for many miles would be closed on both of the two days we were...

“We had a lovely stay here. The location is truly spectacular with many options for walking in the National Park. The food was tasty and plentiful, and all staff very friendly and helpful. ”

“Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“La cama es cómoda y tiene esterillas eléctricas. Esperábamos encontar una habitación en mucho peor estado, pero nos sorprendió, aunque lis muebles son antiguos , todo está muy limpio. El personal es amable y no está a mucha distancia del centro. La única pega es que cierra a las 20h la recepción.... También hay que pensar que a partir de esta hora poco queda abierto en el pueblo.”

“Lock box code as visible on app and via email incorrect. Eventually contacted host after finding alternate accommodation and correct code was given by host so we stayed the 2nd night. Expedia app doesn't handle VRBO booking messaging or host contact at all. Only managed to contact owner on web after checking in somewhere else.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at the Bischoff Hotel. Ensuite room was good, bar was well stocked and meals were great. Would highly recommend. Only downside were the stairs when carrying piles of luggage to the rooms. ”
