“I stayed here while I was visiting The Nations Glory Barn in Waldorf. It is the coziest little cottage. Loved taking walks around the property too. They keep it very clean and it had everything I needed. The owners were very nice and always got back to me in a timely manner. I would love to stay again sometime! :)”

The amenities were perfect, pleased to find laundry detergent available, coffee pods, firewood, etc. Would highly recommend. It is just as it looks in the advertised pictures.”

“We loved the property and beautiful gardens surrounding the house. The location felt like you were out in the country, but you are 10-15 minutes from anything you’d need. Keene Creek Park is a short walk down the road and there is an Artesian well along the way. Great trails for walking, hiking and biking nearby. The accommodations in the house were good. The bedrooms upstairs can be challenging to regulate the temp during hotter weather and not having a bathroom on the upper level can be an...

“This is a very comfortable and beautiful place. It was very clean and comfortable. They had everything we needed. We did have a lot of trouble with the front lock not letting us in so we did have to go around to the back door a few times. This is definitely place that left us with some fond memories and we would look to come back to.”

“This was such a cute little cabin. Please know that the pirmary bedroom is just a bed in a room without much room for anything else. This was more than fine for me. The view of the lake and sitting out of the dock was wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing. ”

“This was an absolutely beautiful and extremely clean lake home. Several family rooms and two floors to spread out in. Awesome large kitchen with plenty of nice dishes, pots and pans, and seating. King bed in master bedroom not a queen as stated in website, and this was nice! Nice front loader washer and dryer. Please note the dock shown in the website picture is for the home next door. ”

“We have stayed at this lovely home multiple times over the course of our child’s time at Carleton College. It’s become for us, our home away from home, a place where our shoulders go down the moment we arrive. The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful in how they prepare for and communicate with guests. It’s always clean and furnished in a way that lends itself to good sleep and relaxation. It’s also conveniently located, within a few blocks of campus, the Weitz Center, or downtown....
