“We loved everything about the house and the setting was amazing. The one issue we had was carrying the luggage and groceries down those steep outdoor steps. There are also 17 steps indoors to get to the bedrooms. This should be noted in the description of the property. A person with a disability or a handicap could not stay here. “The lodge is rustic and quirky and we loved it! The view of Hamilton and the mountains is amazing. It was a great basecamp for our Montana adventures hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and horseback riding. I did miss having a washer and dryer and the ride up to the cabin is an adventure of its own, but those were minor inconveniences. Thanks to John for sharing your awesome lodge!”

“Loved this log cabin. Literally skied on and off directly from the front porch every day!! The bund bedroom was great for the kids, and the other 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for parents. Would definitely try to book this property again for another Big Sky vacation. ”
