“The apartment was perfect for my elder parents. They only had a few steps to enter into their residence (and was perfect for the added privacy and being able to head to bed early). In addition to the apartment, we rented the house for our family, and my siblings (including their children). Since we were up at varied times, it gave my parents the peace and quiet they needed. As I stated in my house review, Douglas was immediately responsive to any questions and addressed any needs! ”

“Upon arrival, the outside was unimpressive and the area was not as expected - not near water, but face to face with auto garage. However, stepping inside was as advertised. Very modern and clean. Coffee bar was a nice addition. The walls were super thin, so you could hear neighbor conversations, bathroom tiles were loose. Also, sofa was not a pull out sleeper, just a wide sofa to sleep on. “I took a couple of days' R&R in Mystic and my stay at Shaun's apartment was great! It's cozy but makes the most of the space: there's a wall desk that pulls down, a small outside sitting area, and lots of closet space. Shaun also provided a bowl of snacks and even milk in the fridge for my tea! The location is also great, close to lots of attractions but with a nice quiet neighborhood for morning walks. Shaun was always available and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay, thanks!”

“The apartment is very well-appointed. Just about everything we needed was there. Lots of seating, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Easy walk to everything in town. I had missed in the listing that it is above a restaurant, but it worked out fine. I noticed the landlord even supplied a sound machine(I always bring my own!) and earplugs! Great place!”

“The location (a block to Mystic town) is the highlight at this property. It was also very clean. We (two moms and their young adult daughters) enjoyed our stay here a lot! Criticisms would be that it needs updating (very old shower, old doors and floors,etc) and the floors are VERY slanted through the house. It takes some getting used to, but vacationers should know that before renting. ”
