Room looked nothing like the photos in the listing. Holes in the walls, broken outlet by the bed (which is the most important outlet), multiple yellow stains on the sheets, dirty floors in the kitchen, flickering lights when other people used electricity, soap pump in the bathroom didn't even work. They advertise this stay as being similar to a hotel stay but I would not even compare it to staying in a motel. We tried to contact the property host the very same night by calling the phone number in the listing but it was invalid. Later they explained it was a WhatsApp number. How were we supposed to know that? It's not indicated as such and we do not use WhatsApp. Because of this, we contacted VRBO immediately after. We voiced that we would be checking out asap and after not even staying 24 hours (initially booked for a week), the host would not offer us a refund at least for the nights we didn't stay even after we sent them videos and pictures of all the issues. They even admitted that previous guests before us broke the towel rack off the wall and they "didn't get around to fixing it" and claimed that the stains on the sheets were from yellow towels. At that point, you should probably just buy new sheets. Yellow stains on bed sheets aren't exactly appealing.
They did offer to fix the issues but who wants those kinds of disruptions on their vacation? You're telling me you're gonna send a cleaner, an electrician, and a repairman to our room to get everything done in a few hours? (They claimed all the issues were fixed hours after we checked out when plaster alone takes days to dry). They had fast communication, but refused to accommodate when it came to refunds. Instead only offered refund for "re-bookings" even though they grossly misrepresented the property/didn't disclose ANY of the issues beforehand and didn't even open the rest of the dates we booked for days after we communicated the issues to them and left. They continuously tried to act like these were minor issues (their words) and make us feel like we were overreacting. When my fiance can't study because the lights are constantly flickering, it's not a minor issue. It's a huge inconvenience.
I wish I could post photos with this review so that you guys could see how disgusting it was. I don't know if their other rooms had the same problems or of this was a one time occurrence but the state of this room was definitely not worth even half of what we paid.
