“The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast (included in room price) was super quality.”
“Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. ”
“At the time of the trip everything was fine. However I just received a fine for having parked at the hotel's parking lot. This is ridiculous. I have appealed, let's see what happens. I hope the hotel's manager can help with this confirming that I was there.”
“The hotel is ideally situated at the edge of the New Forest. The staff - especially the manager - were very helpful and nice. The room had been freshly renovated and was spacious, great towels, nice bathroom and nice view onto the landscape. We also had dinner there and it was really delicious. ”

Malcolm meet us as hosts were out, what a fantastic man, so friendly and funny and even offered to taxi us to our party as no taxis available. Great one night stay, Graham and Kay are excellent hosts , breakfast was fantastic .cheap local parking a bonus .

“Another fabulous visit and wonderful stay. I would recommend a little light on the balcony table for late drinks. A few less spiders would have been better as well 😂. There was a table below very close to the balcony with people attending a wedding party including excited children. This did make the room less relaxing than hoped for. Apart from that the Abbey bells are lovely to wake up to, and the staff were very friendly as always.”
