Ylang Ylang By Tahiti Homes Villa

  • Villa Ylang Ylang is located in Moorea Island, the sister island of Tahiti main Island, French Polynesia.

    Moorea Island is at only 30-min away from Tahiti.

    From the ferry docks it will take you about 25 min by car to reach the property situated on the western coast of the Island.

    We recommend that you rent a car as there is no public transportation in Moorea. We can arrange this service for you, please ask us.

    The gated property is set right on a white sand beach.

    The property is composed of 3 parts set on a large planted garden.

    First part welcomes 2 bedrooms (no air-conditionning but fan) both equipped of king size beds and their own bathroom (shower, sink and toilets), a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and a wide covered terrace overlooking the beach and the blue lagoon.

    Second part features a large bedroom (with air conditionning and fan) with a king size bed and two single beds as well as a bathroom with sink, shower and toilets. This part has also a fully equipped kitchen and a wide terrace facing the beach.

    The last part is a bedroom which has recently been renovated to add its own bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). It also features a king size bed.
    This bedroom (no air-conditionning but fan) offers to its occupant, a magnificent view over Moorea's lagoon.

    The villa has recently been renovated and appliances are new. The owners made much efforts to make the guest stay most enjoyable and comfortable.
    The whole property is made of wood with Polynesian decoration inspiration. Colorful cushions and bed sheets, as well as various paintings bring coziness to the overall.
    Free Wifi internet and kayaks are available for your stay.

    IMORTANT NOTE :
    For any stay longer than 7 nights, an electricity fee will be charged.

    The property welcomes 10 persons total. It is ideal for two families traveling together. No party allowed.

    The different parts cannot be rented separately. We ensure total intimacy and privacy during your stay.
    You may enjoy traditional Polynesian meal at popular Painapo beach restaurant located at only 2 min walking distance.
    There is a small convenient store at 1500 ft from the Villa Ylang Ylang, and you will find Pizza at 1 min distance by car.

Perfect Vacation!

We loved everything about our vacation at Ylang Ylang! The homes were perfectly clean, the beach was amazing, Moorea paradise! We felt welcomed and secure, safety was prominent, the kayak was great, beautiful turquoise waters made for the best sunsets and paradise vacation. We can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful Stay in Moore

Unique stay in Moorea with three bungalows. Perfect for our family. Lovely property, close to many restaurants, view of sting rays and black tip sharks right off the shore line, and convenient use of kayaks on property. Highly recommend!

Une très belle demeure

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cette villa. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment. La villa est belle, bien aménagée, un magnifique extérieur et une plage splendide. Vous pourrez utiliser le bbq tout en profitant de vos amis sur la terrasse… c’est vraiment agréable de passer plusieurs soirées ici!

We stayed at Ylang Ylang for two weeks over Christmas and new Years of 25/26. It was a reunion of sorts as the family was reuniting from Canada and New Zealand! The accommodations were absolutely stunning and suited our family perfectly. The three separate properties allowed for space and the gathering spots perfect for many shared dinners happy hours and reconnecting moments! All are avid swimmers, the snorkeling was incredible coral fish rays black fin sharks and even a sea turtle blessed us with her presence, all just in the lagoon out front!! Use of the kayaks was great the guys ran into a pod of dolphins on one escapade! Needless to say it was a trip to remember our (6month old grandson celebrated his first Christmas in Moorea Tahiti) The property management company was great to deal with, professional, knowledgeable and kind. Laina was in particular very helpful and Heiata met us at the grounds with a warm welcome her warm nature and efforts to keep the grounds and dwellings clean and tidy were very much appreciated!The island itself was great fun to explore, we had two rental cars, so could branch off in different directions if desired! The restaurants food truck cafes were all fabulous! Thank you for making this a trip to remember, the accommodations were top notch and we would highly recommend staying here and one day hope to return!

Xmas Family Vacation in Paradise

Fantastic holiday experience for our family. We were able to relax and enjoy all the amazing natural wonders surrounding the property. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, great swimming and kayaking experiences along, coral reefs, fish, rays and black tip sharks. The Property Managers, Laina and Alizée, were very attentive before and during our stay. We loved our Xmas family adventure.

Spectacular

The moment we drove in the gate our group decided to cancel our dinner out plans so we could enjoy more time at the property. It is truly spectacular. Additionally the property manager and the housekeeper were helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this little spot of paradise.

Idyllic

The property was perfect. The host and entire team were amazing. They made us feel welcome and safe from start to finish. The privacy and views are wonderful. The 3 homes on the property were beautiful. One home has airconditioning. Swimming in the lagoon everyday was the highlight. Recommend renting a boat from Hereiti and Autoa at Manahere Adventures which can be anchored right at your own private beachfront. We will be back next year! Thank you Tahiti Homes!

Paradise

The property was amazing. Rey's, black tip sharks (don't worry, not dangerous) and beautiful fish right in your backyard. The property also includes kayaks which was a definite bonus. We had 4 kids and 4 adults (2 families). There are 2 houses and a bungalow that includes a bathroom, so the kids took the big house and the adults each had their own spaces in the other house and the bungalow. Will definitely be back.

Family Vacation in Paradise

I rented this property for my family to stay for our big family trip. We had 9 people in total and this villa fit our entire party perfectly. Villa Ylang Ylang has the perfect beach front location with sandy beaches and kayaks that you can take out for ample snorkeling. There are two outdoor showers that are perfect for rinsing off sand and salt water. The staff was very friendly and made the check-in and out process easy. You are close to markets and restaurants but you should have a car to get around the island. The property feels very safe and secure and has a private gate. The location is hard to find the first time since there is no real address and no signage. Overall, I would recommend Villa Ylang Ylang to anyone looking for a private stay in Moorea with their family. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Great beach compound

This property has 3 houses right on the beach. It’s a fenced compound with a power gate. The sea life off the beach is incredible… coral mounds offer all kinds of sea life sanctuary. The depth is shallow enough that you can stand up for probably 1/8 of a mile out. There is a path just a few feet from the beach that stingrays traverse constantly. They will come up to you and let you pet them. The only thibg negative about the houses are that two of the three of them only have fans, no AC. The location is not super close to any stores. It’s a couple of miles from a small grocery store. Otherwise it’s an amazing location

Snorkeling heaven on a peaceful oasis

We loved staying here for it's location, amenities, spaciousness for everyone, short drive to multiple restaurants and activities, and the host/property manager were wonderful and so helpful. Best snorkeling on the island is right off your beach out to the reef. Just paddle out there on your kayak and be sure to bring rope to tie it down to a rock or dead coral or tow behind you. I've never snorkeled in coral canyons quite like here. So much wildlife too. We saw black tip reef sharks and sting rays daily from our terrace! We paid for a snorkel tour and no other spot compared to our own snorkeling here. We also loved how the terrace was covered because even in the rain we could sit out there and play cards and read and watch the waves break out way on the reef. We also loved how this was a "compound" in that there were 3 buildings, 2 with kitchens and 1 without, and each bedroom had its own bathroom. We didn't mind one bit that there wasn't air conditioning. The fans worked well and we were never too hot at night. We made use of the charcoal grill quite a bit and the 2 tandem kayaks. We had everything we needed and had such great support from the property manager. She was very reachable via WhatsApp and sent help if we ever had any troubles with anything. You're also located right by a park and all locals, which was something we wanted as well. We felt immersed in the culture more than we would have at a resort. We got to watch locals fish right off our beach! Which the beach is one of the few with a good deal of sand! It is public, but not many people come through besides neighbors. We also felt very safe with all the gates and never felt worried any of our stuff would be taken, even on the beach. We will definitely be back here.

L’emplacement, le jardin sont magnifiques par contre les villas manquent vraiment d’entretien ! Les deux lits 1 personne sont inutilisables tellement vétustes! Donc capacité 8 personnes mais pas dix. Il pleut dans le bungalow plage ! Électricité et plomberie à revoir, installations gaz non conformes et on ne peut pas prendre 2 douches en même temps car 1 a de l’eau chaude et l’autre froide ! Les robinets et douches extérieures à remplacer. Bravo et merci à la personne qui s’occupe du jardin et ménage, discrète et consciencieuse. Manque de verres aussi. Dommage c’est un bel endroit et comme je l’ai dis à Tahiti Home ce n’est pas sérieux de vouloir Faire des travaux quand la villa est louée. Tout cela aurait dû être réparé avant notre arrivée. Merci pour votre geste
