This was the perfect family reunion get away. The house was perfect for relaxing as well as gathering inside and out. The view was stunning, the lake water was warm. The kayaks were a huge hit with our family we had many who had never been and it was so great to see them try a new adventure! The only thing you should be aware of is the drive to the house is just over 2 1/2 miles of a one lane gravel road (@10-15 minutes off the main road). There are steep inclines where you can't see the road in front of your vehicle (Not a problem if your first time driving in is in the day light). The driveway is also very steep and a lower to the ground car may have issues getting down or up that incline. I had a CRV and it was fine. The plus side is once you do it once it is fine, and the house is so great we didn't leave until our checkout date. The refrigerator was enormous, however the freezer is separate and very small. It had an ice maker and we were able to put a small bag of ice and bucket of ice cream, that was all. There is a top portion but I do not believe it is a freezer as the bucket of ice cream melted. All and all my family rates this the most relaxing location ever with amazing views. Perfect for a group of couples, or families with a variety of bedrooms. Our kids loved the kids room and the climb up room as well. Would highly recommend!
