“Booked on a whim to get away for a couple nights along the Mississippi and this seemed like the right fit. We weren't looking for anything extreme, just something comfortable and near the water. “The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. “Great house for a nice getaway. Plenty to do onsite to keep you occupied. Fantastic outdoor patio area with woods behind the house. 2-person jacuzzi tub was fantastic too. “Beautifully decorated home. The host thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed plus some. We grilled one night and everything we needed was there. It was very peaceful sitting outside watching the river. There were trains as well but they were not that disturbing! The host answered any questions we had in a very timely manner. ”
