“....as advertised”

“Very unique experience, more furnishings than we expected. There are incredible books, challenging puzzles and various games. Nice selection of music…both records and CDs. The location is near railroad tracks which might concern some guests, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall.”

“One of the cutest BnBs we've stayed in and we travel a lot! Close to Shasta without the inflated Shasta price. Walkable to brewery and a good pizza place. We hope to stay here again.”

“We very much enjoyed our short stay! The home was very cute and cozy and we highly recommend!”

“My husband, fur baby and I had a wonderful stay. The bungalow is super cute with great decor and amenities. We enjoyed the sunroom immensely especially our pup. It’s the perfect location to get to all the great hikes and lakes. We’ll be back.”

“The house had a lot of charm and character. My husband and I and our two adult children felt so at home and comfortable. The house was walking distance to everything downtown. There were some hot days where we felt happy to just stay at home and enjoy the ambience. The host Rick checked in to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Staying there enhanced our trip. Thank you”

“The house is close to some of the restaurants and shops in town. In addition to many parks. It was comfortable and had a small fenced yard. Smart tv was good. Could use a refresh on the non stick pans. The mini split heating/ cooling system was so difficult to use despite the directions. We needed her to turn on the heat as it was very cold the day we came in. We tried using the system to then cool it a day later and couldn’t get it to cool so we left it on what she set it as. The view of Mt...

“We had a great one-night stay with our large group (including our dog and 4 kids). The home was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated everyone without any issues. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The only minor hiccup was that the induction cooktop didn't work well for us as it started creating smoke when we tried to use it. Worth noting for future guests who plan to cook during their stay.Check-in is done through the motel reception, which was straightforward. Overall, no...

“We had 4 adults and two Labradors. The property is down a gravel path. There is a lovely flat area around the house that gave the dogs plenty of space to sniff and play. The house has great indoor and patio seating areas with a beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking. We enjoyed the trains going by. The path to the lake is great, and definitely more effort to walk back up than walking down. We stayed for 6 days and only...

“Peaceful place to hangout with friends and family Nice outdoor bbq”

“Really enjoyed this stay just because of the view….yes it is that special! Waking up from the main bedroom you get to ser that view! Kitchen is modern, the baths a bit tired. Two proper bedrooms and a very large laundry room/ bedroom upstairs (kinda funky but worked). Downstairs large great room with bunks and a bath. Private road up to property with tons of parking. I already miss the view!”

“I can’t overstate what a wonderful vacation this was. The property was amazing and the hosts were so accommodating. They bent over backwards for us and we highly recommend staying here.”

“The hosts were easy to communicate with. The house was lovely with a great view. The paddle boards and kayaks included with the rental property made it easy to go play I. The water. Very smooth rental with clear instructions.”

“We had such a wonderful experience at Shasta Lakeshore Retreats the first time that we knew we had to come back—and our second stay exceeded our expectations once again. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the peaceful setting on the lake makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear they take pride in creating a great experience for their guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already reserved another...
