“I recently spent five nights here (mid July) while solo hiking Volcanoes National Park (30 minutes away) and exploring the Hilo area. I would totally stay here again by myself or with my significant other. This was a beautiful and fun compliment to spending all day outside - being screened in and protected from the rain, but otherwise immersed in outdoor Hawaii. The garden is beautiful, and the property felt very private and safe to me. The outdoor shower was nice and hot - perfect after a...

“This small out building was an absolute dream for a stop over - close to Volcanoes National Park, isolated enough to feel like a jungle retreat. Coffee on the morning balcony while listening to the birds and looking out into the foliage was incredible. The host was wonderful with their communication and we had no trouble finding the place, checking in (we showed up pretty late), or feeling right at home. Would absolutley reccomend to anyone looking for a cozy getaway.”

“Volcano house was absolutely amazing! The only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't leave more time in our trip to enjoy every element of our stay there! We have stayed at a lot of places....Hawaii marks our 50th state visiting as a family, and I didnt expect how much Volcano house would literally be an attraction in itself. Joshua was wonderful. He gave us clear instructions of how to find the home, and I was so thankful for his advice of where to eat in the evening for our late evening...

“The Lehua Lodge is the best place I have ever stayed on the Big Island!! Linda is a phenomenal host, very available and highly responsive!! The lanai on this property is amazing!! We loved listening to the rain and enjoyed all the gorgeous flowers! We loved it so much that we extended our stay!! Can not say enough about the home or the hosts!! We will definitely stay here again!!”

“Fun and unique home with a lot of charm! Enjoyed sitting on the covered patio and listening to the rain and wildlife. One of the bedrooms is open to the living area below with no door. Not a problem for us but should be included in the description.”

“Great location for us, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Host was great with communication.”

“Nice owners, pristine accommodations, very safe rural neighborhood, beautiful landscaping. We only stayed one night on our way to see friends, also visiting the big island. So we didn’t explore the area much. But it’s not far from the volcano and even closer to the hot springs and petrified forest.”

“No”

“We had a beautiful fresh bouquet waiting for us on the comfortable lanai. The yard is gorgeous and the house had everything we needed for our short stay - family, 4 adults.”

“So nice and cute!!”

“Perfect house and location for anyone looking to enjoy the National Park.”

“Convenient location to restaurants, beaches, and National Park. Host was responsive to questions and had a really nice “Welcome Book” with a lot of good information.”

“We arrived well past dark and in the rain. The property was easy enough to locate and access. After a day of traveling, we (2 adults, 2 teens) all appreciated the cold a/c and clean place to settle for the night. We got a kick out of the frogs (they're loud at night, but definitely didn't interfere with sleep). We only stayed the evening and were out of the house early, but we had all the amenities that were necessary and the teens commented on it being the cleanest place we've stayed on our...

“Nice comfy place to stay for a couple days.”

“The property was a great get away from the business of being in town. Very spacious comfortable beds n furniture. Hugh kitchen if you want to prepare meals n cook. Danielle was a good host. She responded quickly to our request. We had a nice stay”

“Enjoyed staying in this cabin! It was a welcome change of pace to relax in a rain forest! The host responds quickly to all messages. He also gave us lots of useful information about the area when he sent us the check-in information. All the doors are sliding doors which will make some noise at night if you need to open or close them. WiFi was really fast. It was really helpful to have labels for light switches, windows, and the bathroom shower. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet...

“A perfect place to unwind and listen to the sound of peace! The host were wonderful and very accommodating.”
