Good Hotel! Best bang for the buck!
Good Hotel in central location and walking distance to various vendors. Free breakfast and free parking. Will stay again.

Triste Esperienza
All’arrIvo la signora addetta alla reception ha contestato la prenotazione. Innanzitutto non riconosceva le date di soggiorno, quando check e check-out erano segnati in modo ineccepibile in due lingue, sul foglio di promemoria. Ovviamente voleva farci pagare la differenza. Poi ha contestato la prenotazione di nostra figlia di 14 anni che sul sito è considerata bambino e da loro adulto. Così abbiamo pagato la differenza per il terzo letto. La stanza non era la stessa della prenotazione ( non siamo assolutamente riusciti a capire perché non poteva mettere il terzo letto in una camera di 32 metri con letto king come risulta dalla prenotazione) Così eravamo sistemati in 3 letti separati, con le valigie a terra in una stanzetta con dotazione e servizi essenziali, come il sapone e la carta igienica, scarsi per 2 persone ( anche se avevamo pagato il terzo adulto). Inoltre la stessa signora si è rifiutata di stamparci la carta d’imbarco per il volo di ritorno. Fortunatamente la sera cambiava il personale della reception. In sintesi hotel da evitare in una città con servizi ottimi e persone veramente squisite

Could have been better
First upon arrival tried to say reservation was for only one and wanted more money. This hotel has all the facilities for a very good hotel but the room maintenance left a lot to be desired- didn’t clean bathroom some days, soap was inadequate, tv difficult to operate, breakfast buffet left something to be desired- and Saran Wrap covered dishes instead of covered bowls. Coffee was only instant.

Al Maha
Not too far from the beach. Clean, comfortable, good selection of restaurants near by, as is the Avenues Mall of Oman. The pool area was often very quiet which meant it was nice and relaxing. The WiFi came and went in the room.

Comfortable stay and hoptality staff
There are many good restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. And it is convenient from the closest bus stop(Al Gubla). It will take about minutes by walk.

tv should have an accompanying channels guide to directly go to a specific channel; you cant go to other sections of menu for channel surfing as its password locked

Great location and good overall
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi need to improvements as we just couldn't get online in our room most of the time. Breakfast was nice and varied each day which was a nice surprise. The fitness 'centre' needs an upgrade, but useful for thr one time I used it and the pool is a nice touch, but as the beach is so close, you're better off going there. Location is excellent, 10 mins from the Grand Mosque, 15 mins from the Opera House, 30 mins from the port, and for other places of interest we didn't need more than half an hour planning time. Plenty of food choices locally and only a few mins away from Avenues and Muscat Grand Mall for additional food places.

Zbyt drogi w stosunku do oferowanych warunków.
Cena dojazdu taksówką z lotniska do hotelu to 9 OMR. Dość przyzwoity hotel z wygodnymi pokojami. Niestety hotelowa gastronomia, tzn. śniadania, lunche i kolacje, droga w stosunku do oferowanych potraw (śniadanie 4 OMR, lunch 6 OMR, dinner 6 OMR). W pobliskiej restauracji można zjeść obfity i smaczny posiłek z butelką wody za 3,50 OMR. Plusem hotelu ma być jego położenie w centrum miasta, ale odległości w Muscat są tak duże, że z hotelu przemieszczenie się gdziekolwiek i tak wymaga taksówek. Hotel można polecić w zasadzie tylko ze względu na czystość oraz miły i uczynny personel.

فندق نظيف جديد نوعا ما ينقصه بعض الحرفيه في اداره الفنادق بشكل عام ممتاز لمن يبحث عن فندق مريح وسط منطقه كل الخدمات قريبه منه فقط تفاجانا برده فعل موظفي الاستقبال عند علمهم بقيمه الحجز حيث كان فعلا سعر منخفض عن طريق Hotels.com لدرجه انه اخذ وقت طويل حتى ياكدوا لنا الحجز

Considering you need a car in Muscat, then the location is fine. Muscat is very spread out so it doesn't really matter where you stay. Has a convenience store right opposite which is very useful.

Great Stay
I recently returned from a most enjoyable stay at Al Maha.The room was large ,very comfortable bed,and the housekeeping staff kept it spotlessly clean. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.... and always with a smile. I have to make a special mention to the lovely Susan on reception!From the moment I arrived she was so helpful and no matter how busy she always had time to answer questions with her knowledge of the surrounding area ...thankyou Susan. I will definitely return to Al Maha......very soon I hope
