“Great food. Quiet hotel. Very clean.”

“We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

“We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!”

“We stayed a couple of week days and were allocated a lovely room in the annex. Bed was really comfortable and room was well decorated. Lovely quiet location. Food in the restaurant was excellent too. I recommend the hanging seafood kebab. We attended a family event in the on-site function room and this was well catered. One couple decided to stay the night even though they lived locally as there were already a number of us staying there for the family event. The last remaining room was a family...

“Always have a nice quiet stay here. Check-in is online and easy, and entrance and room codes are included in your welcome email. You have the proprietor's mobile number should you need to speak to someone. I would say that cleaning needs to be more meticulous, and maintenance and upkeep of the facilities (roll holders, bathroom shelves etc) has to be more regular...”

“It was snowing when we arrived. The room was very cold because of no heating. I returned to reception, complained and the heating was connected, After a few hours the room heated up. At 2 am I woke up. The room was very cold and without heating. I called reception for more that 30 minutes but no one answered. In the morning I complained. The hotel answered that there was nothing that could be done. No shampoo in the room. I will not return. Not recommendable.”

“Room clean . Comfortable bed complimentary water . Biscuits and good selection of teas and coffee even hot chocolate. Staff amazing couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast amazing good parking plenty of spaces. The only downside for not very tall people the bath was quite high to get in to have a shower. Overall a lovely place to stay”
