“Lovely friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. I only ate in the hotel the once during my stay, but the food and room service I had was very good. The location is great - a short walk away from the excellent Broughton Inn and a whole load of other eating and drinking places. Would definitely stay again.”

“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“Fantastic Hotel. We’ve used it a few times now. Very clean, big rooms and comfy beds. My father in-law left his jacket in his room, he only realised when we had got home. The staff located it and put it somewhere safe until we got Royal Mail sorted to do a pick up. Very happy with the service. All staff friendly and helpful ”

“Setting was idylic, bar area was cosy and warm especially when log fire was burning. Staff very welcoming and charming. Restuarant lovely and food excellent, limited menu but prepared fresh. Rooms very quaint, little one bedroom cottage, lounge area downstairs with Tv and upstairs a bedroom and bathroom with large bath and powerful shower. Will certainly return”

“We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

“We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!”
